Stuart, you must have at least one of EVERYTHING!! :eek::cool::thumbsup::D Another dynamic duo, especially the stag stockman!! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Incredibly nice shot, Leslie!! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Once I retrieve my bag, I’ll make do with this selection for the next 8 days.

Looks like you have some classics to choose from, Jeff. :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: Is that a "first edition" Leatherman (with no model name) you have there?? How do you like your DMT cards?

When I right-click to open your image link, I'm prompted to sign into a Google account. Maybe the people who can see the picture are always signed in on their phone/device?

Still with the Stag Jack this weekend:

Hey, there's an image conjecture that makes sense to me! :rolleyes:
Your stag 77 is a stunner, r8shell! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Part of my Easter weekend carry . This little gem hasn’t been out of the safe in a while .

Love those flame-looking covers.
Absolutely and I should lay it down on the hood of my flamed 57 Chevy and take a pic :D
Joshua took the words right out of my mouth! And I'd LOVE to see a pick of that knife on your car! :cool::cool::thumbsup: "I went down, down, down, and the flames went higher."

I have absolutely nothing at all against my Black Alox Pioneer. They are a very capable knife and handled all the cutting chores I put it to on my recent 9 day trip. Please forgive the recycled photos, but you can understand why I now have this 65 Ben Hogan and 77 Stag Jack in my pockets!!! :cool: :D

Now I have more song lyrics rattling around in my head, Ron! :rolleyes:;)
"Gee, but it's great to be back home. Home is where I want to be. I've been on the road so long , my friend..."

I don't include it in every picture, but that little white imperial is always hanging around my neck and does see an occasional cutting task.
Good looking edge and patina you've got on that little knife, @Hickory n steel !! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

#78 my first GEC. What a great user!
IMG_20180324_145518.jpg
Congrats on your first GEC, sir! Fantastic spearpoint main on that amazing knife! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

... I was hoping to get some nice outdoor photos of my Churchill this weekend, but we got a few inches of fresh snow last night, so an indoor photo will have to do for now.

Congrats on the ebony Churchill, Barrett!! Not only is the apparent form and function sublime, but it seems like everybody who's anybody has grabbed one of those!! ;):thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

I rest my case!! :p:D Cool photo, FBC! :cool::thumbsup::cool: Gonna post it in the books and blades thread?

Glamor shot, Greg!! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

...
Thanks. Those croci keep hanging on despite the frequent lows in the 20s.
The Schrade sylph is just four inches long, so it's big as well as small.
;):cool::thumbsup:

Appealing stockman, Travman Travman ! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: (Except I don't understand why some stock knives are made with the tip of the sheepsfoot ABOVE the top of the liners??)

Happy Easter to you my friend! :) You can’t go wrong with a good Jack and Pen knife both in your pockets! :thumbsup:

Two special knives for this special day! Wishing everyone a blessed Easter! :)

Thanks, Ron. :) Triumphant twosome you posted there! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks! Regarding the horizontal sheath, it certainly is for the mini trapper. The knife jams in very tightly with only about 1/2 inch sticking out and it takes a really good tug to pull it out. Perhaps with age it will loosen up, time will tell. As it is now I think just about any two backspring knife in the 3.5 to 4+ inch range would be a tight fit. I wear it on the right side which means that when I bend over the open end is pointing up so the knife wouldn't fall out even if it were loose. (A loose-fitting knife would probably end up in the couch cushions. :p)
Thanks for your informative thoughts on that Case horizontal sheath. :):thumbsup: I often see those discounted at gun&knife shows and wondered if I should pick one up.

My new #78 for Easter today!

W:eek:W!! Really like the checkered jigging on that lovely bone, not to mention the majestic spear!! Congrats, Jason! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

...While I constantly cozy up to your captivating canoes, that yella fella from Case is really nice.

I hope everyone has an easy Easter and a peaceful Passover.

Have a great Easter Holiday everyone .

Harry
I'm smitten with your small stags, Harry! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Even without your April shenanigans, r8shell, that's a very cool metal ad knife! :cool::cool::thumbsup: How long have you had that, and how long did it take to decide you had "foolish" plans for it?? ;)

Thank you very much, GT!
The covers are the smooth pioneer bone.

Great looking knife! Really getting a hankering for one of those beauties!
Thanks for the cover ID, and for the compliment on that Winchester. :)

Excellent, Dean!! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Yeah, boy!! There was a Whataburger located between Mooresville, NC and my college town of Davidson, NC back in the late 1960's. We'd pull up outside, over-eat on burgers, sneak a drink from the cups hidden under our car seats, and try to pick up the carhops. I've also eaten my weight in Miracle Whip on BLTs and turkey sandwiches, though I'm more of a mayo/Duke's guy. Whip + sriracha sauce = great burger topping or steamed shrimp dip.

Here's the obligatory knife pic.

Your trip down memory lane sparked another song in my head, Stuart! "Memories may be beautiful, and yet, what's too painful to remember we simply choose to forget." That little tip-bolstered Coke knife isn't at all painful though! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

GEC #15 won from a recent GAW by @rswanson and also a Camillus #51 from a GAW by @WhittlinAway I think over a year ago. Celebrating the holiday and the generosity of The Porch.

"I second that emotion", JP!! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I vowed to have nothing to do with fixed blades, but that's a temptress! :D Ceramic???

My Staggy/Horny Knife of the Week is an A. Wright & Son "senator" (thanks, R.c.s.):

My Peanut-ish Knife of the Week is a Case SS brown delrin peanut (thanks, Cory):

My Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is a naked little Imperial serpentine jack (thanks, Dave). It's one of the very few of my knives with a name - the Silver Bullet. :rolleyes:

Your Old Red is looking good my friend and the Covers on the Oakedge look pretty deep , almost like horn , in this picture . Nice picture too Ron .

Harry
Thanks Harry! Old Red is hanging in there pretty good! I figure if I am never able to buy another 77 Barlow I’ll probably be able to limp by with it! ;) The Oakedge has nice Rosewood for a second! :D

Even without your April shenanigans, r8shell, that's a very cool metal ad knife! :cool::cool::thumbsup: How long have you had that, and how long did it take to decide you had "foolish" plans for it?? ;)
Funny you should ask...A friend of mine gave it to me last fall. He collects Schrades, and thought it was an interesting example. 1973 was the last year of the "Schrade Walden" stamp, and it is commemorating the 40th anniversary of Miracle Whip in 1973. He said, "Why don't you post a question asking how old it is." :D I've been mulling over how to use it in a joke since then, so I refrained from posting any pictures until now (the secret to a good one is to try to make it funny or entertaining, even if it doesn't fool anyone)

5K Qs 5K Qs That's a stylish stag senator, GT, and pretty pointy peanut (with its re-purposed mitt slip), but the Sliver Bullet stands out with its simple, sinuous silhouette. Thanks for the compliments.

Travman Travman ! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: (Except I don't understand why some stock knives are made with the tip of the sheepsfoot ABOVE the top of the liners

I’m not sure. This is my first stockman and I assumed the tip peeked out above the liners on the sheepfoot blade because the previous owner sharpened it a lot and ground off some of the blade tip.

These two made a strong case for carry today. Case 62042 small pen and Case 6207 mini trapper, both from 1965-1969 period.

Thank you very much Gevo . I always appreciate your kind comments my friend . I also posted it in the other 2 appropriate threads .
Take care Gevo .

The Churchill is just a super useful and easily pocketed model.
That is not a book it is the soundtrack lp. Maybe we should start a traditional and vinyl record thread...Hmmm
There was someone posting some cool record art / knife pics in here not too long ago but I can't remember who.

Brought the TL29 to leave behind with my boy- everybody needs one of those!

The diamond cards are great, especially on the road. No stones and oil to drag around.

Yep- “original” Leatherman.
