What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks for the comments, Dean. :) You've posted a couple of captivating classics, especially with the memories you probably have with the former EDC Cadet!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Love this one !!

Wow! Great photo of great beauty.

Lovely! I've got the Fantoni (bolsterless) version, I've had my eye out for a City Knife for a while... I cut off the front guard so it matches the Lone Wolf outline better. I still think I prefer the City Knife though! You're right about that edge. If I needed to dissect a flea or do some impromptu ocular surgery, that's what I'd grab! Really interesting mechanism, I've been meaning to take it apart and do a full review. Maybe someday!

Still totin' the Shuffler. I've tried to force myself to carry something else a few times but I can't get out of the house without it. I did manage to carry my new SBJ in the watch pocket too, but I wasn't real happy about it.

Sure do love those modern traditionals! One day I'll have to dabble in the European offerings, my young knife collecting career has mostly focused on American knives, though I look forward to branching out down the road!

That is quite the quartet indeed! A wonderful mix of beauty and utility. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve found that retirement has improved this geezers time management skills dramatically! :D
Thanks for the compliments my friend! :) The quartet looks to be ready for a gig!

My Sunday carries are a TC and an AW. Hope y’all have a great day! :)

Man, those micarta TC's sure are drool worthy!

Wow, that's nice!

I'm at home today with two sickies while the rest of the fam heads to church. I'm toting my 43 as well, with its growing patina:

I'm glad somebody is using their cocobolo 43, I can't bring myself to yet ;) Granted, I think my beaver tail and micarta should be sufficient for most situations! That patina is coming along nicely :)

Beautiful 66, Grateful. Couldn't agree more with the dog quote BTW!

I don't know what that is but it sets my heart aflutter!

I put a little tail on my beaver tail last night and I’m pretty happy with the results!

Hope y’all are having a great day!

Copperberry Copperberry Some guys are users, some collectors, and some do both. I'm in the 1st category. I don't want to buy a knife I won't use, unless I'm just looking it over before I pass it on to the next guy.

I’m right there with you, actually! I intend to use every knife I purchase but my cocobolo is the most flawless item I own. I think it’ll take a pretty fancy date night with the missus before that one sees my pocket haha!

What a vast variety of vibrant vintage knives you share with us, Steve!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks GT ! I found out more about this knife. It is indeed a Queen #10 from 1961-62 and never had a tang stamp as it originally would have had a blade etch instead.:thumbsup:
