What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The cocobolo Northfield 72 is riding in a sheath in the left side pocket of my sport coat. The honey brown bone Kinfolks Sway Back Gent is in the right front pants pocket.

This Camillus 18 is a real nice knife. Threaded bolsters. Scales are delrin I think but feel like bone. Federal Shield is almost flush. Can't tell if it is pinned without my glasses. Great walk and talk. Blades sharpen up real nice. What more do you want for $20 on fleabay?

I just started carrying this CASE XX in my boot I replaced my Fixed blade Imperial as this on is a little thinner less noticeable on my part. I also carry my Grandfathers TL-29 in my pocket along with my tiny Schrade Walden 808

Kevin, I hope my ebony 72 turns out to be as beautiful as that EZ Open 85 you have. What beautiful wood! What a wonderful capture of it in your photo!

Kevin - Based on my GEC dogleg in ebony, and the many pictures I have seen of other recent ebony offerings from GEC, I have suspected that they are currently using macassar ebony rather than gaboon ebony. My dogleg is all dark, but the color is right for the dark parts of macassar, not gaboon. Your teardrop is a dead ringer for macassar, I would say I am now 99% certain that they are using macassar instead of gaboon ebony for most of their knives.

What's the difference? I don't know much about ebony wood. Thank you.

Today my GEC #66 Serpentine Jack was with me.

A crappy pic with the knife in front and a nice traditional bavarian beer and my wood-heatening ofen in the background. Sorry! I didn´t get it better (it´s too dark, I know) and it was a long and hard day at work

It´s comfortable at home :)

Kind regards
Andi

I tried the same setting as yesterday's picture, against a tree in the yard next to some blooming ivy. Only difference is today my coat pocket carry is the John Lloyd Shadow in Rosewood.

Andi your after work beverage looks very enticing!
