recently saw this next one for sale & have now replaced the s/s military one with this c/s differentially hardened two-blade slip joint, stag grips, a 'higo nokami'. the picture shows the two blades as a small inset on the lower right. blades are 2.25". darn thing is sharper than heck... blade is stamped 'Rock Creek Knives' (they're a divn. of CAS Hanwei).
I just got this today in the mail, a Chestnut Bone, CV, Case Swayback Jack, won it from Brutus013 in a giveaway here on the forums, thanks Curtis, I'm lovin' this knife already, you made an old man happy.
Well, now that the mail lady has been here, I'm carrying a new yellow Buck 301 in my pocket. They did a particularly good job on this one. Nice snap to the blades and all the springs lay exactly flat.
Well my tax guy just left after 4 hours of doing what tax guys do. I'm so glad that's over ......
I've got this ivory and ivory micarta duo in my pocket today.
Saturday means I get to wear jeans all day. That usually affords the opportunity to comfortably pocket a larger knife, like my 4" Lloyd or 3.75" Northfield. But since the Case Peanut arrived not much else has been carried. Just wish I could get a decent picture of it.
But I just got a phone call from my Bud over in America, and so I went to my EDC box and swapped it for his knife ...its the equal-ender Jack at the top...these two knives are special to me, both of them gifted to me by two great guys, and I have them in my EDC rotation box...now and then it gets a big change over-but these two always remain in EDC rotation
I've been carrying small fixed blades, along with a folder, for years. Today this little "Jack Russell" (6 1/8" OAL)from Jerry Halfrich is clipped in my pocket inside a Paul Long sheath.
