What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

As a throwback Thursday tote, I'm dragging a dandy duo out of their dusty den for a day of fresh air and bright skies.

Another marvelous pair, Stuart!:cool::thumbsup: The Needham is in amazing shape for its age, but that Case cattle knife really catches my fancy! ;):thumbsup: I bought this 4-blade canoe fairly recently (thanks, Jeff) that has bone reminiscent of your Case:

Really like this photo with the knife blade mimicking the obelisk in the cemetery!:cool::thumbsup:

Great Canoe there 5K  Not a pattern made over here in the UK :(
I hadn't noticed the position of the blade in the photo so it must of been a happy accident. :D But it's not an obelisk it's the 'Rudston Monolith'. Erected between 3600 and 4000 years ago; at 25' 7" it's the tallest standing stone in Britain. It's estimated to weigh 40 tons and is apparently as deep below ground as it is as tall above ground.
It stands in the churchyard of All Saints Parish Church, a Norman era church in the village of Rudston in East Yorkshire. Local folklore says it ended up there when the devil, angry at the Christian church appropriating a pagan site, threw a stone at the church but due to divine intervention it missed!
Archeologists say it was dragged from 10miles away up the coast, but I prefer the first story

Case really knows how to bone up a Daddy Barlow. Always a fantastic combo of smooth polish around the bolster, sawed flats, almost a raw edge around the butt, great dye job, and bone chosen for gnarly character.

Slipped this old Armstrong barlow into my pocket today...

Spectacular, Wayne! I've never seen that type of bolster before.

Thanks, Dean. :) Your red 2-blade teardrop, and the Case stockman, are both aces!:cool::thumbsup:

Thanks, Dean; I'm very pleased with all my Colt knives. :) Wonderful pic of your BFTC!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Big knife this week is a Cold Steel Kudu:
