What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Today I’m Totin a Case Red Bone 6207 from 1974 and a Winchester 3907 from 1991. :)

Thank you for a very interesting post redsparrow redsparrow .

Now that I know you and @r8shell have the same Schatt harness punch knife, I am certain that my decision was a good one. The two of you have excellent taste in knives! It does seem like the type of knife you would pass on to your children and grandchildren, but I will take your advice and use it a bit first!

I also agree with you about the alox SAK Pioneer. It is a great knife and probably would be my only knife if not for this collecting illness. My orange Pioneer is photographed with a Cadet my wife bought in the 80’s. Even though that knife has traveled worldwide, it has barely been used. Now it is old enough to be considered unique because of the ribbed pattern, pen blade as a secondary, and vintage shield.

BTW Half/Stop Half/Stop those are two awesome knives! Beautiful!

This has become my knife, not my pattern, or my preferred carry of the day, but my knife. ...

Quite a testimonial to the quality of your stag Churchill, Josh!!:thumbsup::cool:

I decided to take an old friend out for the day.

Hail to the Chief, Erik!! Great to see that one again!:cool::cool::thumbsup:

Leslie, I blame you for lengthening my knife wish list!:rolleyes:;) Mini copper lock? The threaded bolsters are fantastic!:cool:

Same old Churchill for me but the Alsdorf Equal End hasn't gotten any pocket time for longer than I care to admit. I figured it was about time it occupied my watch pocket for a spell.

Good to see you're so taken with that Moore Maker!:cool::thumbsup: (Saturday, I bought that same brand of clementines - excellent batch! :p)

I missed a day, and fell WAY behind with this thread, but it's a public holiday here, and we have our third consecutive day of sunshine - which hasn't been seen in Yorkshire since around 1976, at least ;) - so I'm going to run in here, post my carry, go out, and try and catch up with this thread later! Great knives everyone :)

A.Wright small Lambsfoot and large Stan Shaw Sheepsfoot, both in Sambar

Enjoy your spring sunshine, Jack, and those exquisite examples of stag!:thumbsup::cool:

I found this in a sweatshirt pocket. Thought it was in my sock drawer. EDC for many years of my practical period.

Superb old cross red Alox, Jer.:cool::thumbsup: Was it a BSA-sanctioned model at some point?

I missed yesterday so I'm doubling up this morning! I have my Ebony Lambsfoot along with a new Winchester Black Box pen knife. This pen knife is a hidden gem as far as I'm concerned! I have been trying to pick one up for awhile now! I really lucked out on this one and was at the right place at the right time. :D

Premium pair, Ron!:thumbsup::thumbsup: Will we see/read more about the pen knife? Blades-open pics, etc.??

Bright skies and low humidity today, so I'm going to squeeze in some yard work. Here's two of my workers.

Very nice, Pt-Luso Pt-Luso !:cool::thumbsup: How old is that stag mini trapper?

Another clever, captivating composition involving one of your impressive knives, Ken!:thumbsup::cool: I always look forward to seeing what you'll dream up next! ;):)

Thanks, GT! Thankfully, I'm a bit bigger and stronger than them. ;)

I hope to see your weekly carries soon!
Thanks, Shawn. :) I hope to post some of them today.

It's an eagle, GT. That knife is in their American Eagle brand line of knives.

Thanks for learning me something, Stuart. :) I keep a little 1-blade ivory synthetic shadow pattern Frost Cutlery knife on my desk; it has a "Flying Falcon" inscription and image on the tang stamp. Lots of birds of prey imagery from Parker/Frost?

the diamond jack! i find myself drifting towards that knife quite often ;)
:thumbsup::)

Fourfold treats, Gev!!!! :cool::cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

This imperial is the only vintage knife I’ve owned that’s really clicked with me.

Cool!:cool::cool: How vintage is it, in years? Are the covers (camo?) pinned on, or is it the Imperial shell construction?

It's photoshopped, I photoshop all my patinas. ;):p:D
:D Good plan; I'd do that if I was more tech-savvy!

I have my Lick Creek TC Barlow and Case Peanut with me today.

Great choices! I happened to be carrying the same today.

Four impressive little knives, Dean and Shawn!!:thumbsup::thumbsup: Are your Barlows the same size? Shawn's appears significantly larger than the Peanut, but Dean's knives seem much closer in size.

View attachment 901507 I haven’t carried this 79 in a while.
Actually thought it was lost till I found it in a box a couple weeks ago.

These are great sized patterns.
That's a beauty, willc willc !! Congrats on rediscovering it!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Morning folks :) Carrying these two today, by Alfred Blackwell, and George Wostenholm
