What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I love the smell of juniper wood, and I am digging the look and feel of the sawcut bone.

Thanks, Jack. :) May I think of the Wharncliffe pattern as a kind of serpentine sleeveboard?? :rolleyes:

Thanks for the SBJ compliment and the Imperial info, Erik. :)

Thanks, Stuart & Josh. :)

:cool::cool:;) You are on a creative roll, Ken!! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks for the message and for another photo of that handsome knife, Leslie! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Classy clip point on that knife, R Roscotanna , and welcome to The Porch! :):thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Bad to the bone, Harry!!! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Congrats on your contact with the maker of that big fixed blade, Stuart; your excitement is palpable and contagious! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool::cool:

Nice pic and knife, @AlwaysTomboy !! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Citrus slicers! :thumbsup::thumbsup: (Fruit/Knife size mismatch?? ;))

Congrats on your exam knife, Karl. :cool::cool::thumbsup: I have a "test tie" that I've worn for taking and giving tests since 1969, and I've recently added the Vic Money Clip :rolleyes::

The Wharncliffe is a very precise - but historically important - pattern GT. The secondary blade is a Pen :thumbsup:

Cool tie my friend :cool: :thumbsup:

@5K Qs it’s no wonder that tie took that place, it’s awesome! And that is quite the ingenuity to use the Vic money clip as a tie clip ;)

Jigged Wenge Wood for today! ;) Y’all have a great day! :D

Jigged wood has to be my favorite cover material yet in terms of how it feels in hand. I credit it to why I carry my #43 beavertail so much. Speaking of which:

Forgive the old pic but it happens to be the same knife, mug and coffee that I’m currently enjoying. No need to break out the camera :D

Thank you fine Sir !! Wonderful TC and very cool pouch !!

Thanks, Gev! The pouch was made by fellow Forumite Barry Johnson; he does such good work that I asked him to make another one for me.

Thanks for the kind words and the info about the Barlows, Shawn & Dean. :) Dean, your True Crimson and TC sheath are Totally Cool!! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Thanks, Gary! Kind words seem to come Trippingly from your Computer. Your Vic tie clip is cool.

For wooden Wednesday, I'm carrying these two: GEC Huckleberry boy's knife in ebony and Case Teardrop in curly maple.

I will confess that this is the only jigged wood example I own. I like the look and feel. I had to give mine a little mineral oil rub down due to drying issues. Other than that it has held up quite well. The trapper was made in 2010. Nice mug! :D
