Congrats on your exam knife, Karl.:cool::thumbsup: I have a "test tie" that I've worn for taking and giving tests since 1969, and I've recently added the Vic Money Clip :

Interesting.
Scott, could you post a couple more pictures, perhaps looking at the blade well and back springs?
Thanks!

Making the 2 layer 371/373/301's is not too difficult. I disassemble the knife, remove the spay layer and if desired replace the factory scales then reassemble and pin the knife. Actually the China series 37X's are easier to modify because they don't have the Buck shield that is part of the liner frame casting like the USA made 30X series. The two layer 373 with micarta scales is about .38" thick at the center pin.

Looking down into the well of the knives, sorry about all of the pollen in the pictures everything outside my home is covered with a layer of the allergy inducing stuff.

Looking at the backsprings of the modified 373, had a small amount of gap near the bolster, this was my prototype so it's not perfect.

For wooden Wednesday, I'm carrying these two: GEC Huckleberry boy's knife in ebony and Case Teardrop in curly maple.

Wow, snazzy combination Dean, but the curly maple on your Case looks fab! :)

Scott,
Thank you very much for taking out the time to take and post the photos. As you mentioned, this gives a good example of what our BF knife could look like if selected!

Only green knife I own but having ties to Kansas and conductors, had to have it. Serial number 007 was icing on the cake, glad someone didn't run me up.

This is very, very cool. I had never seen one before. Love it.

Very nice John. I have my first green knife on the way. It's from Enigma Knives in Poland. I do have a GEC 73 jigged bone in antique green bone, but it's really brown not green.

It's almost my bedtime and I realized I hadn't posted any of my carries today. I'll display a few so I can rest easy.
International Knife of the Week is a French Opinel #6 (with some ugly American modifications):

Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is a Case chestnut jigged bone CV mini trapper, whose spey blade I've used frequently while the clip goes virtually unused:
