What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

How can you relax in the presence of that monumental knife??:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I think you're right about my enjoyment, Ron, but I doubt if I can get one of everything, so I've decided that I'd rather look for Spear and sheepsfoot on opposite ends (maybe like a GEC #79 Workhorse?) rather than the clip/sheep combo of the Churchill. ;)

Dylan and Ron and Jack, love your red paired with your black!!:cool::thumbsup:
Gary I have found that the older I get the easier it is to relax regardless! ;) The #79 Workhorse is a dandy. A very stout knife, one of my favorites! The problem is they are a little on the scarce side! Thanks for the compliments on my red and black duo! :D

I have a bad habit of owning a knife that I really like and then either selling or trading it away. Many knives come to mind but recently I've had luck bringing some off those knives back home. A Fremont in oiled bone was acquired in recent weeks and then this wonderful Walnut TC with Clip/Pen. Why I ever sold my last one baffles me:eek:
Well a big thank you goes out to forum member "Signalprick" as he treated me very fair on a trade plus cash to bring this one back home:thumbsup:

The gunstock Walnut TC's are special to me because of the history behind the knife/knives. Happy to carry this one once again:)

We did, Gary. Just a beautiful day walking around with my daughter - I love looking at all the antiques and old tools.
No knives that tempted me, though. The usual plastic tubs full of huge Chinese zombie killers, and boxes full of trashed and rusty knives that even I would not try to ressurect!

I did buy a few things: some old Nicholson files for $1 each, an old leg trap to try to get that marauding boar coon that keeps destroying my bird feeders, and a couple of pieces of elk antler for knife handles...

My grandfather was the 2nd chauffer for the Nicholson family in the late 30's. The 2nd chauffeur drove the lady of the house around. I seem to remember him telling me that he drove a Packard.

Sir that is an absolute beauty! A true grail knife! I wish GEC did more in Walnut. A lovely American wood that ages beautifully!
Thanks for showing! Now I have another knife to drool over...
