What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My Lloyd constant companion and a wharnie in CPM-S35VN and Cocobolo today, along with a couple of others!

The MAM and that little fixed blade did all the work today.

That sowbelly is surreal, but that little fixed blade is a knife with purpose.

Some pie action yesterday for my lambsfoot.

The foot o'lamb is scrumptious, but that pie takes the cake for me. I see a fruitless quest for me today.

Decided to EDC an old friend today - Case 6380. OH

That's a fine old friend to have, OH. I have one from 1976, but I don't show it - the shield is missing (gotta send it back for warranty work).

John Lloyd Richlite LC.

That's a picture of "clean", Alan.

@Nature Boy , Half/Stop Half/Stop , @Travman , @Amir Fleschwund , @Astronaut FX , @JTB_5 , Peregrin Peregrin , SteveC SteveC what a fine display of handsome knives. A great way to start the day!

A Winchester 2904 1/2 in smooth bone, 1989. One of the drawbacks of taking picture outdoors early in the day: pesky reflections in the blades. Oh, well, it could be worse (e.g., rain).

Great knife even if I'm not that convinced by Trappers:D

If you have problems with that crocus finish in the sun, you know what to do...stick it in a Lime:D:thumbsup:

Thanks, Will

That's interesting about the grind on your Sambar Lambsfoot Dylan, glad you're finding it OK :) Thank you, that pic is fabulous, what great colours! ;) The ebony on your Lambsfoot looks really black there

Thank you, Jack, and my apologies on the late response. I hope to do a more thorough write up on these new knives in the not so distant future and will post my thoughts in the Guardians thread. And yes, I am quite happy with the color of this Ebony. I certainly think it could be a bit more black as when the sun hits this one just right you can see the barest hints of chocolate but overall I think it is most definitely a keeper.

Thanks y'all I tried to resist buying it because it was too nice, I even tried to get Pàdruig Pàdruig to buy it and save me. ;):D

I must confess that I saw your note and completely forgot about it... Been so busy. Ah well, my loss is most certainly your gain. Such a gorgeous knife and I am happy it ended up with you.

I think there might be a pic or two being posted. :D

Pics like this make my inattentiveness even more of a punch in the gut. :D Very well done.

I love seeing that stag, r8shell, and am really looking forward to seeing it age/evolve with use.

Striking pair, Dylan; there sure are some highly desirable stag lambsfoot knives showing up on The Porch lately!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thank you, GT. I would certainly have to agree, there has been some tremendous stag. I think I have been fully converted....

Dylan and Ron and Jack, love your red paired with your black!!:cool::thumbsup:

I do believe it has been said, great minds think alike. (nevermind that part about fools) :D

My Canoe of the Week by coincidence is very similar to those of Travman and Leslie, a Case from 1975:

My Stag/Horn Knife of the Week is a Colt stag canoe:

Those Canoes are looking sublime, GT. It is always a treat.

I have a bad habit of owning a knife that I really like and then either selling or trading it away. Many knives come to mind but recently I've had luck bringing some off those knives back home. A Fremont in oiled bone was acquired in recent weeks and then this wonderful Walnut TC with Clip/Pen. Why I ever sold my last one baffles me:eek:
Well a big thank you goes out to forum member "Signalprick" as he treated me very fair on a trade plus cash to bring this one back home:thumbsup:

The gunstock Walnut TC's are special to me because of the history behind the knife/knives. Happy to carry this one once again:)

Those Walnut TCs are always a pleasure to see. I am happy you could bring one back into the fold, Paul.

I might do some yard work today. ;) It’s not raining and our temperature and humidity are both lower! I hope everyone had a great weekend. This pair will be tagging along today! :D

I guess it’s TC Tuesday for me! :D

Some terrific choices, Ron! Those are looking sweet! That spear TC though... Exceptional.

I am going double Lambsfoot today. These both represent some tremendous effort by not only our very own Jack, but from the Wrights factory as well. Superbly made knives.

Thanks for the compliment Dylan! That Sambar goes quite well with that beautiful Ebony! Congratulations on that pair!

Stunning pie/knife my friend! ;) :D

Thanks gents! Glad you like the pie :D It's from Yates & Greers butchers, in the town of Leigh in Lancashire. Not as nice as they used to be. The meat is greyer and there not as spicy as they once were.:(

This, however is totally different animal.

A 'Toppings' pork and chilli pie from Toppings of Doncaster, South Yorkshire.:thumbsup:
Award winning and known throughout the realm as a pie of quality. Apparently, if you go to the deli counter in Harrods of London and ask for a pork pie, it's a Toppings pie you get

I don't think I've ever been to Leigh David (I'll have to correct that) :) That is a great pic :) I used to buy fantastic pork pies in Bakewell, but they were expensive - and large - the sort you bought at Christmas :) The local firm here in Leeds is Wilson's
