What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Back to my medium stockman

Last week I pretty much carried my Case sway back.

So far this week I am still carrying one by Ken Erickson. The pics were by Ken when the knife was new. ;)

Finally got some free time to do yard work this afternoon, and had these two with me: the Case Peanut in my watch pocket, the Northfield 72 in my back pocket.

I have to say it sure felt good to get out of those boots!

The middle one, a Case pen knife in yellow delrin & CV. This one is just the right size. Bigger'n a Peanut, smaller'n a stockman or trapper. I'm frankly a little surprised this one doesn't seem to have much of a following:

I saw a page or two ago that someone's got a Buck Companion in yellow delrin. I just got a Companion in rosewood the other day, and it is really growing on me. The much-maligned saber grind makes the blades much stronger than they have a right to be for their size.

What is the larger blade?

Yup, that's it right there! Thanks Rick! Wasn't sure how to adjust the colors with my cell phone, so I didn't even try. Still carrying that today as well.

That's a beauty. I love GEC's acrylic, and Tomato is one of my faves.

I adjusted the color a bit. Is this more like it?

Northfield #48 slim jack cut my steak tonight. Unfortunately for all of you there isn't any left to share. ;)

Your wording concerns me. Hopefully, it doesn't look like this now?!

;)

I really, really like the look of the shield on your knife in conjunction with its scales and lines. Very nicely done! I can see this as Bruce Wayne's week end carry. :-)

Thanks Doug, well spotted.

It's a carved hand stool (or visa versa;)) which my best man gave us for our wedding. Also doubles as a handy, well earned Friday beer rest:)
