Thanks, Jack. :) The ebony lambsfoot and Ancient TC certainly make a handsome couple!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

...It was a trip to celebrate graduating the first year, so really I didn't graduate but merely didn't get kicked out this year :D ...
But that's something to be proud of, too!:thumbsup::D

For Twins Thursday, I'm totin' two Miller Bros. jacks, both 3 3/4", both from 1872-1926, but with slightly different tang stamps and different shields.

Eye-catching edge on that clip blade, Steve!:thumbsup::cool:

Fantastic photos, Prester John Prester John and @Âchillepattada !:thumbsup::thumbsup: From what is the bull carved?

Ruby red sunfish today. (Technically the pattern is a sleeve board.)
Handsome 26, Ken, and the actual "Sleeveboard" in the ad is a nice touch!:cool::thumbsup:

Half/Stop Half/Stop yes sir, O1 blade and lock were acid washed for contrast. Had to send it back to Jared once as it was too sticky, still needs broken in.

When I was in the third / fourth grade in the early 60s, a young lady named Mary Sue (two names equals crazy) had a crush on me. She would write me notes on little pieces of construction paper and pass them to me. I would take them home and read them to my momma, who was highly entertained. At the bottom of one of the notes Mary Sue inscribed "OXOXOX". I, being a naïve little boy, read "ox ox ox" as you might describe three oxen. Momma snorted and laughed till she cried, at which point my older sister got in on the entertainment and also laughed till she cried. And of course this story spread throughout the family and I was teased relentlessly. Mary Sue had an early growth spurt, she was bigger than I, and frankly that kind of scared this timid young man. Between that and the teasing I was never interested in her. However, "OX OX OX" (gotta say it three times) became ingrained in my family as a goodbye between us that remains to this day.

Haven't seen Mary Sue since highschool, but discovered she isn't doing well, so made this pendent for her, going to mail it today, need to get letter written. Made from unobtainium bark.

Thanks, Stuart. :) My first knife was a scout pattern, and my Vic virus is probably just a result of those initial knifely experiences.

Stuart, I always enjoy seeing your phenomenal knives, but I wonder if really I'm just an Imperial Barlow guy.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Dang! I might have to increase my guess on the amount of SAKs you own :)
:D:D

Gary, how secure is that pocket clip on your mini champ?
I lost a Leatherman last fall while clearing thick brush and vines, when something defeated the pocket clip. When I discovered it was gone, I got off the tractor and looked and looked to no avail.
...
Sorry you lost your Leatherman, Jeff. :( I've never had any problem with that pocket clip coming off the edge of my pants pocket, even though it just hangs there by the weight of the Minichamp and usually a 2nd knife. But I also lead a pretty tame house&office existence; if I was thrashing around in a brush pile, I think the clip could easily get knocked loose.

...
Uh oh! The dreaded Ebony Weevil looks just like a ladybug!
:D:D

That’s a beauty!

Recently arrived, and into my pocket. I’m guessing there will be a few of us with one of these in our pockets this Black Friday.
Congrats on the new gunstock!:cool::thumbsup:

Cracking pics of two top-class knives Dean

Thank you, Jack.

What a terrific view, Dean, and the knives aren't hard to look at either. After having become content with not having one of Charlie's new TC Ancients, you fine folks have convinced me to have my heart set on finding one. It really is one of those knives and one of the few TCs that I have seen that really speaks to me, if that makes any sense.

I have decided to go with a couple of little ones today.

Thanks, Dylan. About the newest Ancient TC, I hope you are able to find one. If I had another one, I'd sell it to you. As you said it is a knife that speaks to you (and me)! I knew when I first saw it that I would be carrying it with no worries. It is not a safe queen. :)

I like your "little ones." Black and red seems to be a theme.

Both knives of distinction, Jack! Which of all your lambsfoot knives is your favorite?

Thanks, Gary!

Today has been another Ancient Muscadine day. I really like this one. I think it is trying to be my favorite TC ever.

Just passing kindness I’ve received along!

More of the knives I've been carrying this week.
My Watch Pocket Knife of the Week is a skinny little Colonial Jack (thanks, Mark):
protractor.mark.open.jpg

My Big Knife of the Week is a smooth tobacco bone Rough Rider half-hawk:
halfhawk2.mark.open.jpg

My Free Choice Knife of the Week that I just grab on a whim instead of being dictated by my rotation schedule is a Case mini copperlock with walnut Rogers jigged bone (thanks @Leslie Tomville ):

GT, your choices are a grand slam! The bone and diamond shield on the Mini Copperlock are perfect, the smooth bone half hawk is very intriguing to me since the recent thread on them, and I MUST know more about the Colonial Jack! Age? Closed length? I am smitten with that clip point and slender pen blade!
