Apparently, I'm still enjoying posts from last weekend!

SteveC
!

They seem very similar, and I think @Old Engineer has one, too; are you all forming a club??

I can't make out the name of the maker on the tang, though.
Looking good; I hope you get enjoyable service from that hardwood Vic.

Well-matched fixed blade and folder!

That looks like a useful stainless couple, and I'm glad you're pleased with the sharp Buck canoe!

VANCO is a new maker for me.

Thanks again for this beautiful tool,5K Qs !!!

Sorry if I posted twice! No more bourbon!

Delightful duo, Tom! That ebony BSK is top-of-the-line IMHO!

Thanks, Tom.

Holy Toledo, Joshua, those two really match on cover colors!View attachment 954873
Heading to a wedding of a colleague of mine. Carrying my classy Churchill and Lannier.

That blue denim knife is a real stunner!

Sounds like you'e earned some rest, Ron!I’m sure I’ve missed a bunch of nice knives posted today. I’ve been after it since 7am and we finally got a much needed shower and a quick evening meal.I’ve been carrying the 74 Orange Delrin Mustang and the Buck Jigged Bone Canoe both with stainless blades. I’ll have to say this about the Buck Canoe, I believe it to be the sharpest knife out of the box I have ever bought! Both blades are scary sharp! I am impressed!

Thanks for the education and the kind words! Thanks for the kudos, GT. I took my pattern classification from B. Levine's 1985 Guide: if the knife is over 4" and does not have symmetrical bolsters, it is an English Jack. I do like that modded BF knife - nice choice.

Great-looking pen knife, Stuart!By the time that I got outside to take a pic of today's totin' choice, daylight had become a fractious foe for photos. Apologies for both shadows and reflections on the VANCO Indianapolis pen (1888-1940).

That's a trio that gives you a multitude of blade choices!...
Today's carry is all Buck.
A 110 on the belt, with a 301 and 389 in the pocket.

Another guy with a couple of knives that offer so many options together! I've been a fan of the little SBJ for quite a while, and I'm quickly becoming a Tribal Lock supporter, Ace!My yellow Delrin tribal lock is pretty much my constant companion at home these days, carried in a Case horizontal belt sheath. However, the big drop point blade isn't always ideal for smaller tasks requiring more precision, so I've taken to carrying a peanut, small stockman, or etc. to complement it. For the last couple of days I've been supplementing it with my jigged chestnut bone swayback jack. I had the patina on the jack pretty uniform until I decided to use it to spear and eat some peach slices this morning...
