Really nice, I did not know they did a fixed blade to go with their copper bolster folders.Just arrived today. Fit and finish is on point. Good weight without being too much. Rides low on the belt in a good quality leather sheath with an embossed Dog's Head logo.
I think I'm gonna enjoy this one.

I thought I would try a GEC fixed blade. I picked this up at the GEC store. I’m pretty sure it is 440 stainless, which I haven’t had in a few years. So it will be fun to sharpen and use something other than 1095 occasionally.

They definitely look good.I recently bought a couple of Case Caliber knives (stockman and muskrat) with no liners, Zytel covers, as ground blades, on sale for about $15 each at a big online Case dealer; they remind me a little bit of your Carhartts.

Thanks, Dean. That's a cool little spearpoint TC!
This Rough Rider half-whittler helped with food prep last night, and the RR marlin spike is SO fitting for a lake-side vacation:

Yeah, I know what you're saying. It seems they are satisfied with the amount of business they have.I like that.
I really don't know why Grohmann knives aren't more common.
