Are those Russians or Bulgarians on the bottom picture with the mashineguns? May I ask what book that is and if it's any good?

The knife's jolly well great of course! :D

A very handsome old fellow, Jer. Thanks for giving him a home and for giving us a look.

Oooh! That's a good one, I'm a little envious.

Nice to see that getting some love.
Very little, if any blade wear!

Thanks, guys. There are a lot of knives I like a lot, but this one absolutely sings. The whisper-thin blades are in incredible condition, considering how much plating is gone from them.
Pretty thin package overall, too.

Thanks GT! It certainly helps that I found an antique shop with a big bowl of vintage knives, I cherry picked 5 I really liked last time. I had to stop at 5 only because I didn't have more cash on hand at the time. Hopefully I can go there again this coming Saturday and rescue some more!
If you do, I look forward to seeing pictures of your rescues. :)
Good to have you back Rachel, those two go together nicely :)
Thank you, Jack, happy to be back. Not so much that it's Monday, though. :(

I will either be clearing an overgrown field that has not been mowed in 7 or 8 years, or down in a hole fixing a busted field tile, and it might rain, so decided stainless would be smart.
Ever seen 12ft high ragweed?View attachment 969304Anyway, got a poncho and an old boonie hat that I waterproofed with Otter Wax, and this stainless Camillus and a Craftsman folding hunter, which is mysteriously very Schradeish in appearance.;)
