It’s almost September 1st, the start of my favorite time of year. Time to start getting ready for Christmas. Yeah, I know it’s Mardi Gras acrylic, but it’s the right colors to be my Christmas knife. Not correct for Mardi Gras at all.

Thanks, guys. There are a lot of knives I like a lot, but this one absolutely sings. The whisper-thin blades are in incredible condition, considering how much plating is gone from them.
Pretty thin package overall, too.

Thanks GT! It certainly helps that I found an antique shop with a big bowl of vintage knives, I cherry picked 5 I really liked last time. I had to stop at 5 only because I didn't have more cash on hand at the time. Hopefully I can go there again this coming Saturday and rescue some more!
