315 another 1911, rare Colt XS compact with factory beavertail safety, ambi safety, combat sites and fancy grips resting on Sparks leather. Heart is a WIP. Can't keep this TC out of my pocket.

This Twosday is hotter than Hades with humidity matching the temp, so it'll be a slow and easy day for me. I need to drop by my local hardware store, so I'll be totin' these older fellers just "in case" I need to something to chat with the regulars about: a Case 02 (1920-1940) and a Case 35 (1940-1964).

That's a colorful pic!
The stag gunstock is worth sticking with,
That black/orange combo is one of my favorite pics of yours!
Sounds like a good plan, MH!5K Qs , thanks, and really liking that RR stockman, I think the ruby red color RR uses is some of the best around imho. This post has inspired me. I already decided to go with Bucks this week, your RR's inspired me to do all RR next week. And another brand each week this month. Got caught up in my vintage knives I've been neglecting my newer ones.
Thanks, Dean. That RR stockman is another one that compares well design-wise with a 897UH....
Thanks, Gary! Every one of your RRs is terrific; the stockman is indeed appealing!
Thanks, Jack. Thanks pal, that's a splendid RR trio, cool pics tooThumbsup:
...
Versatile pair, Ace!... Anyway, carrying my usual Case Select 6207W Wharncliffe mini trapper, which is my all-time favorite among favorites, and supplementing it with this sweet little Buck 305 Lancer. ...

The closeup shot of your soddie really shows off that excellent Case Jigging!
Looking good, Cuz!...
Carried this hard worker today.

Notable pair, Jack!
Double stag today. Everyone seems to be goal oriented. For the rest of the month I'll carry at least two traditionals, one of which will be stag.

Is that a lambsfoot, John???
I think the chatting will be a monologue, Stuart, because the "regulars" will probably be speechless looking at that dazzling duo!... I'll be totin' these older fellers just "in case" I need to something to chat with the regulars about: a Case 02 (1920-1940) and a Case 35 (1940-1964).

That black/orange combo is one of my favorite pics of yours! Thanks for the SBJr compliment.
Yeah, I can see the appeal of some kind of light box set-up. I was hoping to take a few shots of a night after work today, but by the time I got home it was almost 6:30, and after I got my supper, supper for the dogs, and took them outside, it was 7:45 and there was no decent light left. It's starting to get dark early already!
Sounds like a good plan, MH!Thanks for the props for the RR red medium stockman.
Thanks, Dean. That RR stockman is another one that compares well design-wise with a 897UH.
Thanks, Jack.I always like my knives, but don't always like my pics, so I welcome your comment.
Versatile pair, Ace!That Wharncliffe mini trapper is a show piece!

It's as close as I've gotten. LolIs that a lambsfoot, John???![]()
Thanks for the compliments.Thanks.
I really like that secretary, I love my pocket pal but figure what's the point of having cellador scales if they don't hold a toothpick and tweezers.
Real nice on that bust you carved too, I'm not good with faces at all and don't think I could ever whittle such a thing.
Ah I see. Thanks for the compliments. But, I didn't carve the bust. @WhittlinAway sent me that Recruit tuned for whittling (key ring attachment removed, pen blade reprofiled to straight edge and about 10˚ per side) and included the little guy Greg had whittled.

Anytime, my friend. While the spear on the 99 is very useful, I sometimes daydream ebony shadow pattern 99 with a clip blade.
Carried this hard worker today.

Thanks Jack!A man can’t go wrong with a good Barlow and a good Lambsfoot in the pocket!

BTW, the carving is so cool.
Thank you, GT, but they got pretty chatty (and I bought two items that I didn't know that I needed). And thank you andJack Black for your constant supportive commentary on this thread. It is, truly, comforting.
I'm totin' two today, Ebony from Sheffield and Osage from Titusville.
