Thanks for the photos. Your 77’s are looking great my friend!Carried two 77 Barlows today during the drive from Dickinson , N. Dakota to Great Falls , Montana . ( Old Pics of Knives )
Shortly after leaving we stopped here
And saw some scenery
And we saw these when we drove around inside
Then we finally got to the Big Sky Country of Montana
Also ran into some Traffic Congestion along the way.
North Dakota and Montana are both some very beautiful states .
Tomorrow we should be in Glacier National Park .
Harry

That’s a great looking knife right there!
I can see the tang stamps on the two jacks, what’s the stockman- a Camillus 67?Reminds me of a commercial from olden times.
If you dare wear short shorts, Nair for short shorts na na na na na na na.
I cut quite a swath with my jodhpurs and braces today. Too hot for riding boots, so I wore sandals.

I also had a rosewood lambsfoot, but that group shot wouldn't focus.

Knife by Pedro Bermudez
Enjoy the new Otter! It looks like some variety of mahogany.![]()
New Otter. Sharpened up easily. I had thought to try dyeing the handle, but most likely I will just put some oil and beeswax on it. Good user and carries well, I just prop it in my pocket with the key wallet. Lenght closed is 94 millimetres, just right in my opinion for a pocket knife. Good snap and smooth firm pull, fit and finish is good, no gaps and blade centers nicely when closed. I wonder what the wood on the handle is?
I tried mine in the kitchen, and can confirm you were right~the 4” Lambsfoot does admirably on the cutting board!
Yes indeed!Just ask,Half/Stop , Gev. The front door is always open and the ice is always cold.
Today is my Ebony Churchill and my new Sambar ACL.

Thanks buddy!Nice pairing Ron![]()
Thank you. I found them all Wednesday at an irresistible price. The upside-down one is a Kent/NY City/USA, made by Camillus for Woolworth's, I was reminded this morning by an old post of Codger_64's.I can see the tang stamps on the two jacks, what’s the stockman- a Camillus 67?
Nice group!
First toting of my latest project, since I finished her up last night. I won a bid on this Camco Scout for less than the very reasonable shipping charge. I had intended to caniballize the awl blade to put in a TL-29 to make a harness jack, but when I got it I liked it too much. Carried some, but never sharpened, and strong smooth snaps. The awl blade was cocked over toward the main causing jamming and blade rub, so it needed to be tweaked a bit, and the ugly plastic handles had shrunk.
Here it is broken down.View attachment 984971This is how the mart of wal sells buffalo horn dog chews...they are zip tied to a piece of cardboard with the label and bar code.View attachment 984967Cutting scales...View attachment 984968And after getting her all back together and sanded to 2000 grit, I have a new love.View attachment 984969View attachment 984970
Thank you! Buff horn is quite easy to cut, shape, and polish. I am going to continue the polishing with some micro grits as it seems to bring out more and more rays and highlights.Cool mod! Didn't know they sold buffalo horn, I know what my next re-cover job will be done inthat turned out very nice
Thank you Sir ! As do you !You have great taste Gev![]()
