What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Top carry the Teardrop, that the Coffin Jack, Small Gunstock are ones I like a lot (well, actually there's no poor pattern in the range) but this is my favourite, the Swell Centre Pen. It's no longer pristine as I carry and use it frequently, need to find another 'reserve' though. :) It will be with me today too.

Mercator (Otter) lockback. This served me very well during a backpack trip to Estonia. Light, flat, easy to carry (I used a pocket sheath) and has plenty of blade for most common uses during the trip (mostly opening packages and food prep). The lock is very solid but still easy to operate and does not make a hotspot, it actually sinks into the hollow of the hand during use.

TGIM! :eek: We started driving to the District after my wife got off on Thursday. We drove halfway in a torrential rain storm, finally getting to our hotel around 9:00PM. We got up Friday morning and drove the rest of the way to our location. Our daughter was moving two blocks to a new apartment. We spent all evening on Friday packing boxes. First thing on Saturday morning we picked up a 15’ Uhaul and started loading it. Finally getting everything moved into the new apartment around 8:30PM on Saturday evening. We grabbed a quick bite to eat and a hot shower before getting to bed. We got up Sunday morning and hit the road around 8:30AM. We got home at 7:30 last night. Whew! :eek: That’s rough on an old man like me! ;) Today I’m home relaxing with these two in my pockets. :D

Sounds like a busy weekend and a hard job well done. I've had weekends that make me look forward to work on Monday when I can get some rest...;)
