I bet that stockman likes to work hard just like the ants, great pic!

That's divine Nick...yowza !!!
Thank you!

That old Imperial EO is really nice, Harry!
Probably WWII production?
Thanks much Jeff !!! I am been lucky enough to have a Pal , Cammillus , and this Imperial that are all so much alike , that I can't tell them apart without reading the tang stamp . I guess I should spend some more time with them . I expect that all 3 of them were built in the 1939 to 1946 range .

For reasons I can't explain, several photos I could see yesterday when I chose posts to quote appear to me as blue boxes this morning. :(
Black wood and silver hot dogs look tasty, Ron & Ken! ;):thumbsup:

Mini Copperlock
Splendid knife, John! I like the size and the lock release position.:cool::thumbsup:

It's not bone, but the "checkering" on Alox also has incredible appeal for me. Fantastic pic, Dwight!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I tend to avoid white handles because I'm afraid they'll get grimy and stained. But, Jeff, I know you use your knives a lot, and those two still look grand!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

More toy piano keys?

Piano proficiency demands daily practice!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

IMHO, that's an awesome photo of two knockout knives, Tom!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

...totin' this old wood-clad Schatt & Morgan jack (1903-1932).

Sam Adams himself could have carried a knife like that venerable S&M, Stuart! ;):thumbsup:

Rousing rosewood lambsfoot, and that hashtag bread looks wholesome!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

... Sorry to bore you guys.
Yeah, I'm bored to ecstasy, Nick! ;):thumbsup:

Wood jack for the win, Steve!:cool::thumbsup:

Charming couple of wood SAKs!:thumbsup::cool:

Outstanding olive wood, sir! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

... I admire your canoes. It is a pattern I've not tried yet, but I hope to one day.
Thanks for the canoe comment, Joshua; I certainly commend the pattern. :)

That Camillus EO is a dreamboat!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

... I love that Okapi Biltong.
...
... That okapi is nice!
...
How do you like that Okapi?
...
Thanks for the kind words about the Biltong. :) I like it a lot. It reminds me in some ways of a MAM sheepsfoot I have, but I prefer the carbon steel blade of the Biltong, and the external backspring on the Okapi is preferable to the MAM's friction folder design.

...this stag keeps calling me.

-Joe
I hear that call loud and clear myself, Joe! ;):thumbsup:

...
That Imperial is piece of art, with really nice fluid lines. Much more sculpted that one would expect from "an old scout knife."

- Stuart
Thanks for the articulate description of my BSA Imperial. :)

...
I get concerned about becoming one of those repetitive bores spouting the same endless things ; ...
Regards, Will
Like me?? I find it comforting when I can often predict where people stand on an issue.;)

...So here it is, Weidmannsheil 3" Stag & Dam. Or is that Dam Stag?;)

8HQXPh0.jpg
That's a ravishing knife, Will! :thumbsup::cool::cool::thumbsup:

Superb pic of a praiseworthy pair, Joshua!:cool::thumbsup:

...
Flattery will get you everywhere GT! :D ... I can't remember whether or not the alligator clips chew up the material. ... Three nice choices there my friend
...

Thanks, Jack. :) I worried about whether the clips would damage the pants fabric, but I haven't noticed a problem in my first 5-6 months of using them regularly. Delightful duo you're carrying!:thumbsup::cool:

That's a first class pic, John! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

A pair of impeccable knives, Alan; the crown jack is especially regal IMHO!:cool::thumbsup:

Utica today

Those "topographical covers" are fascinating, Steve!:thumbsup::cool: What pattern is that? Looks like two big blades, one on each end? Both spears? Single spring?

...
I suppose the Pen is not popular (far better than a Peanut..;)) ...
I agree with Will here!:thumbsup::cool:

I'm speechless with shock and awe, Stuart!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::eek:

Nice knives GT, that Okapi looks especially interesting, I'll have to look that up.

I tried the edge retention "experiment" last night, it was pretty fun and a little enlightening (and completely unscientific and totally subjective :) ). ...

... I'll probably use the 30 degree-toothy combination on Case stainless steel knives in the future.
Thanks, Tom. :) I enjoyed reading about your edge experiment!:cool::thumbsup:

...
Cute Canoe you're carrying this week!
Thanks, Dean. :)
