Super cool Gev

Boy, you miss a a few early hours on this thread and it's like jumping on a moving train to re-join the flow. I spent most of today clearing fallen trees from the old roads on our club's hunting land, and trying to figure out why the well pump at the house is on the fritz. I rushed home, as I didn't want to miss Wooden Wednesday. I've been holding this gem since I received it from Jack Black Jack Black last week with a couple of beautiful cigarette/cigarillo cases (one of which I posted in the Beverages thread). He was so generous that he threw in a packet of sweet treats that he knew I fancied. Thank you, Jack. I am humbled by your kindness and friendship.

Man , I really got behind in paying my respects (apologies to those whom I have missed even with this hasty catch-up).

Fine, fine sowbelly you got there , Stuart.

Thanks. I really enjoy carrying it.

You have been showing some spectacular sleeveboards, Jack. Thanks for sharing them.

I bought the Case new in ‘73

Those Case covers look comforting, Ron. That is a handsome older knife.

The spinach and kale get tastier after the frosts come.

And those Cases look pretty tasty, too, Jeff.

Could you please let me know the model number and what the closed length is ?

Model 2904, 1987, 4". The model 2904 1/2 is almost the same, but the clip is saber ground and knives made in 1989.

Very fine, Dwight.

Beautiful photo Jack and great knives. :)

Remembrance
Very nice Gev. Can you imagine having that kind of dexterity at 78 yrs old?

Very fine, Dwight.
Thank you Stuart. :)

I’ve got these two with me today on a very rare weekday off work.
Tom, a wonderful image as always and both knives are fine but the equal ender is such a dignified and refined gentleman.
