What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

While not as sporty has the weather reported by Half/Stop Half/Stop , ours is a continuation of yesterday's rain, but with wind gusts up to 35 mph. Indoor activities (other than a quick run to the voting booth) and light totin' today. I decided to, again, give a couple of older guys a pocket ride: a Schrade equal end jack from 1946-1973 and a PAL Blade Co. EO from 1940-1945 (after they has purchased Remington's cutlery equipment and remaining stock of parts).

Gary, What can I say... I LOVE the sheep horn!! My favorite material!
I can't thank you enough for your research and explaining your methodology and conclusions. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.
Thank you!

Very cool smiley button!!!
Thanks! That's the SFW side of the coin. The other side, not so much. But I love carrying it in my pocket and it helps me keep my temper when I want to give someone a piece of my mind.

I think those are real appealing mini trappers, Wayne & Dean; I really like that shield and covers combo on Wayne's, and the starred bolsters and jigging on Dean's!:cool::thumbsup:

I still have to make my Monday switch to new knives for this week, so I'll post pics of my Free Choice knives I carried since last Monday.
One is an S&M ebony (thanks, Jack) and the other is a walnut Rogers jigged bone mini copperlock with custom shield (thanks, Leslie):

Today we woke up to tornado warnings and severe storms moving through our area! :( Thankful for no damage here at home. :) While we can’t control the weather, I can control the contents of my pockets. Today it’s a new Winchester Black Box #3902 Split Back Whittler from ‘90 and my Ashley’s Choice Lambsfoot. :) Please VOTE!!!

Great knife and photo, Ken!

Been crazy busy lately and haven't had time to get on in a bit. Here's whats been in my pockets. Also, really digging my new GEC fixed blade.View attachment 1015951 View attachment 1015952 View attachment 1015953
Some great ones there. What’s the little fixed blade in the last pic? Love it!

Have these 2 in the pockets today :
Case that I got in 2017 and have carried maybe once before . Beautiful piece but I just can not get to like this knife very much .

And then there is this one that I can not say enough about .

Harry
Well, I think that Case is a stunner, Harry! Maybe you’re just not a Trapper guy. How did it sharpen up for you? Both of my big Case Trappers needed some bevel work before they’d get razor sharp.

Thanks, its the GEC H20. Great little slicer, excited to use it during deer season.
