I'm totin' a lockback by the late Art Wiman, Plumerville, Arkansas. Mr, Wiman made knives from 1966 until the early 1980s. He was an early member of The Knifemakers Guild and was mentor to Jimmy Lile. He passed on October 5, 1999.

I bought this 4” Camillus to mod. The plastic scales were shrunken and curling at the ends. The blades were crusty and lightly pitted.
Broke it apart and fitted it with smooth elk antler. Sort of an experiment since I like smooth bone, and elk antler is harder and really takes a polish.
Kinda like it. In my pocket today.

I know And I think it's vintage. When I picked up the package, I thought wow..this is heavy. Fit and finish is super ! ( except for the nail nick issue) I am so surprised and a lockback whittler too. Who doesn't like yellow !
