What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I bought this 4” Camillus to mod. The plastic scales were shrunken and curling at the ends. The blades were crusty and lightly pitted.
Broke it apart and fitted it with smooth elk antler. Sort of an experiment since I like smooth bone, and elk antler is harder and really takes a polish.
Kinda like it. In my pocket today.

This just hit the mailbox and its an instant hit ! Super tight, smooth and springy. Lock up... rock solid !! Nail nick on main a little obscured but it's pinch-able and for $11. it put a smile on my sick face :D 4 in. lockback whittler Robt Klaas No, 31 yellow kissing crane

I know :eek: And I think it's vintage. When I picked up the package, I thought wow..this is heavy. Fit and finish is super ! ( except for the nail nick issue) I am so surprised and a lockback whittler too. Who doesn't like yellow !

That Ancient is too swoon for....wow !!!! Great photograph :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Mine today, an old Thornton. We had a saying in the infantry, 'travel light, freeze at night', so antifreeze is essential!
