Finished the week with the case, patina courtesy of a very good cheese steak sandwich:thumbsup:
To all who have served, thank you.
To the United States Marine Corps, happy birthday

You and Ashley have made an appealing choice, Jack!;)

...

I've been carrying these two "free choice" knives since last Monday. The Imperial jack is how I ended up on The Porch, and the 93OT came from a Fausto GAW:

Thanks GT, that Imperial has been a lucky knife for all of us :)

Thank you, Gary !! Thru the worst of the storm, tied to the mast and manning the sheets :D

Glad to hear it Gev, hang on in there my friend

Cool pic Dwight

There may be something to that. It probably needs a professional cleaning and oiling, but that would cost many times more than I paid for the thing.

I've heard the same. My Granddad's Smith's of London gold pocket watch sometimes hasn't been wound for years, and will probably outlast both of us. My Cartier has stopped twice, and has been sat in the drawer for a couple of years, since it's the price of a half-decent watch to get it cleaned by Cartier, and I never used to wear it anyway

A wee better picture of the Fayette..

It came to me as a user, and that’s exactly what it’ll remain as. I’m loving it so far, but next time it needs sharpened I think I’ll thin down the tip. I’m a sucker for needle point wharncliffes.

Happy Veteran’s day to everyone here and a big thank you for those who served. I have the Red, White, and Blue proudly swaying in the wind today.
