I like it very much, Dave, especially since it's a gift my daughter bought me at a knife/sword maker's workshop in Toledo, Spain.:) I like the blade shape, although I don't know the names for some of the European blades.

Thanks, Jack. :) My yellow Imperial is certainly a cheerful shade! ;) Impressive pitch pair you picked for Friday!:thumbsup::cool:

I appreciate your opinion of my Spanish knives, Senhor Pinto. :)

Congrats on finding that treasure, Jeff!:cool::thumbsup:

Very desirable stag lockback, sir!:cool::thumbsup:

Admirable couple of Uncles, @deltaboy!:thumbsup::cool:

Thanks, Jack. :) Calling them "Eternals" may be crediting me with more commitment than I possess, since there have been some changes in my EDC set over time, most recently replacing my 2017 Guardians horn lambsfoot with the single-bladed Vic Alox "retirement" knife.

Thanks for posting another example, Steve, and Jeff, your guess makes sense to me. :)

Thanks for acknowledging SEVEN of my knives in a single post, Dean! :)

Speaking of likable yellow, your punch stockman is a very mellow color and an appealing pattern!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

W:eek:W! That is a sublime EO 2-blade teardrop!! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Thanks for the vital statistics, Dwight. :) French knife, right?

Stuart, I admire your taking note of the knives posted by so many folks here, including me. :)

Bone bonanza, Tom; that pair of handsome folders is really well-matched!:cool::thumbsup:

I think that sheath is superb! Did you hand stitch it?:thumbsup::cool:

Your slender I*XL is definitely XLent!!:cool::thumbsup:

Thanks, FBC. :) Vic Farmer might be my favorite Alox folder (but the Electrician is also in the running).:thumbsup::cool:

Thanks, Nick (although I haven't posted my ebony S&M in awhile, so your praise is probably for somebody else). :) That Queen City canoe is awesome!:thumbsup::thumbsup: How can you let that beauty sit on the shelf for years??;)

Great group shot, Jer, and another example of life's inexplicable mysteries! ;):thumbsup:

Thanks for going your own way to share that pair of Cases, Stuart!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

That duo of dogs deserves the title of man's best friend(s), Harry!:thumbsup:;)

Thanks, Spaten Spaten ; I'm pretty pleased each time I see the scrimshaw, too!:D
Splendid pic of your Winchester pen (and watch)!:cool::thumbsup:

First class stag, Vince! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

I really appreciate that comparison shot of your 15 and 14 versions of an ebony TC Barlow!!:cool::thumbsup:

The eyes of Texas, and everywhere else, are upon you when you brandish that beauty, Paul!!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Cadet and Sodbuster make an impressive Black Friday pair, Jerry!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I think I've already posted pics of all the knives I've been carrying since last Monday, so I'll show the folders that are almost always on my kitchen counter.

Thanks for the compliment, and yes I did.
First punching the holes, then taking the needle and waxed thread to it.

Some nice carries you've got there, I've gotta add a Slimline trapper to my list.

Thanks, Gary. Speaking of yellow again, kitchen duty is a good idea for your Case Slimline Trapper.:)

Today's carry.

Very nice, Dean.

Had my 76 Outlaw earlier, but switched over to the 65-69 #64047P Case red bone punch Stockman

Good choice, Paul. What a beauty!!

Thanks for all the well wishes everybody:thumbsup:

Dang, Will. I go away for one day of deer looking and you get all banged up. Speedy recovery, our friend. I' too, will have a sympathy sip of bourbon for you.

Hey Stuart,

That's hysterically funny & extremely vile at the same time!:D:eek::p

I'm gonna need "TWO" knives to gouge out my short term memory. ;):p

I think this needs to be shown again D Duckdog

My wife was not in favor of us opening up a can of it last night or any night in either the near or far future .

That's gotta be a joke can, right?

I have no idea where D Duckdog Stuart came up with that photo ,:eek::eek: I just assumed that he pulled a can out of his pantry .

What's not to like about sweet potatoes and coon fat gravy?? Sadly, the can is now gone and the dinner just a memory. Sometimes you just gotta make do with what you have on hand.

Gotta watch our figures. I'm on the Slim-Slo plan, myself.

I know that some of you are running to the store for these, right now.

Case sowbelly and Saldana LC.

Very smooth. Alan.

Carrying this old Cat today . Both blades close solid with what I call the Cat Thwack .

Very fine ol' fella, Harry. Now that SteveC SteveC and kai76 kai76 have seen it, lock it up.

Stuart, I admire your taking note of the knives posted by so many folks here, including me. :)

Just trying to keep up after falling behind, GT. I know you know how that can be.

Thanks for going your own way to share that pair of Cases, Stuart!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks, GT. There was a corral full of Cases and I was compelled to join (that cavalcade seems to be continuing, thankfully).

Thanks, Gary.

You sure pack a lot into your posts! I know others have said it, but we all enjoy your thoughtful comments (puns and alliteration and all) and cheerful attitude. I look forward to reading them.

Ditto!!

1980 Case pen knife, green Appaloosa bone. This one has that old time Case snap - very satisfying! OH

Steve and Harry, even your "new" Cases are such classics. Thanks for sharing them. (Steve, the stag that you posted yesterday was splendid, pal.)

@Atiger Wow, Wayne, what a Western you shared!! A bodacious barlow!

It being Sunday, I went to the pearl pile to choose a totin' companion. Lo and behold, I found these two cosmetic imposters lurking there: a Case 9201 senator (1970) in imitation pearl and a John Primble shadow equal end pen (1940-1968) in cracked ice.

Edited to add: Note that the file blade on the Primble is pinned to the tang. Also, its covers might be imitation pearl, more than cracked ice, bit I don't know enough to make that call.

Oops!:p It was @Jack Black, nice ebony S&M Jack! Sorry about that Gary but I remember seeing yours not too long ago. Is your the same as Jack’s? Lately I’ve seen a couple of S&M ebony spearpoints in the bay but am just too broke to pull the trigger. I like your Case yella slimline trapper, something about yellow delrin knives, just classic. I really don’t know why I haven’t toted my Queen City Cozy Glen canoe in sooo looong but I guess after seeing your stash of canoes changed that! It’s a great pattern and mine has one of the best fit and finish among all the knives I have, tight blades with no gaps anywhere. The blades are ground thin which makes it a heck of a slicer. It’s been in my pocket the past few days and still is.

What goes around, comes around... I first posted about this knife on Sept. 27, 2010. Mack (Protourist) posted a photo in this thread not that long after I became a member of this fine group. I carry this little fellow more than any other knife I own. The knife and the truck I still have but the dealership has changed hands and names...

That Queen Canoe looks great, and the spear blade looks perfectly proportioned. I like my Case canoe, but I don’t care for how far the main blade tilts forward, and the tip is a bit too rounded.
