Thanks Dennis. I agree, when a knife rides in the pocket more than it gets used to cut things, carry-ability becomes important.Very nice "half stockman"!
I really prefer a single blade, nice thin profile these days as well! So much more comfortable to carry.
Thank you, that Coffin Jack has a lot of sexy lines to photograph.Of all your great photos I believe I like this BB the best.
Those handles!
Cool, you're the first confirmed customer for a BF Knife calendar!!
Your pics of that BB Coffin Jack are gonna be the death of me, FBC!!![]()
Put me down for one too GT!E

Very cool carbon RR's! Are the blades coated? All the carbon RR's that I have seen had coated blades and that kind of defeats the purpose for me.Part of a Black Friday knife buying spree for me involved a couple of Rough Rider's relatively new carbon steel knives, a canoe and a sowbelly stockman. I started using them in the kitchen the past few days to build up a "protective patina".My first impressions of the knives are very positive, but I haven't taken many pics yet. The knives are going to be Christmas presents from my family
, and they're pictured here with part of a Christmas gift my 2 younger brothers and I received over 50 years ago:

How can you possibly throw back that pair, Stuart?!?IMHO, both are keepers, and I'd probably have the bailed EO jack mounted for display!!

Top shelf, Stuart; that Woodsman has almost everything going for it!Equal-end, blades on each end, sublime blade combo, delectable bone ... One spring or two?
The knives I carry every day, in addition to those prescribed by my weekly rotation schedule:

Totin this 1995 Bulldog two blade, stag Jack.
I'm carrying my latest acquisition, also a Remington![]()
Western #657 today
Mine for today...
The knife I'm totin' today.
These today from a couple of Really Old Friends .
I added this Joe Allen slimline to accompany the Camillus today.
Oh my Stuart! Look at the stag on it.
The knife is a "climber" from Les Couteliers de Fontainebleau and the handles are heated and stabilized oak.
Cool etch on that gorgeous Gunstock Stuart![]()

This one ticks a lot of boxes for me:
Thank you very much, Stuart! That's a cool older Case, Dennis. For a knife more than 55 years old, she's a beaut!!
If it's not a thing yet, it should be. Lovely knife.Carrying this one today for Sowbelly Sunday ( that's a thing right):

Thanks Stuart, it is very slim in the pocket with a nice long thin blade. For me, too. I like everything about it. That pattern and toothpicks are my favorite carry patterns
Thanks, Dean. The jigging reminds me a little of your outstanding Schrade Barlow you posted recently.
Striking pic, Dean!Has anyone done a comparison of this Buck with the CSC Forum knife with a similar blade configuration?
