I can't stop carrying this Remington. The second I pick it up, all of those old BSA ads flood my mind, promising me untold adventures if I just have my Remington knife with me. It really is a very nice and well made knife.

WOW! That one is incredible. Been awhile since we have seen bone that good from GEC. I was hoping the 82 copperhead would look similar, but it ended up rather dull compared to that!

Thank you, Mark. I didn't realize how vivid the color was as this one was always in the safe so to speak.

I'm carrying one of my Case 6217 Half Hawk knives. The one on the right as you're looking at the picture. It is the one that arrived by ambulance. It's been cleaned up pretty good since I got it and is a solid knife. It's a 10-dot (1970 manufacture) with Case Red Jigged Bone. I've been carrying it for a few weeks and will do so for some time to come. I'm thinking that the coins and keys that I carry it with in my pocket will knock off/buff out some of the minor black corrosive stains.
