I like balde stamps, too, Harry!

Astounding knife, Chief!... The point is triangular, press it into the center of the crankshaft or other 1:1 pulley. Zero it before starting and one minute later it shows the RPM mechanically. Still works, can feel the precision despite it's age.

Wandered around downtown Los Angeles today with my wife and scored this pre 1940’s MOP EC Simmons Keen Kutter. ...
Congrats on finding an absolute gem, Nick!
Have a safe and enjoyable, trip, John.Going to drive up to Seattle, watch the last regular season Seahawks game, and then back home. My GEC #14 will be along for the ride...
Definitely a great color for a Christmas pair of knives, not to mention the seasonal trees on the hunter handle!!Had these fellows out to Christmas dinner at a friends' last night.

Thanks for expanding my horizons, John; I don't think I ever watched a single episode of that show (and don't know why not). That's "Scar", it's a Cylon Raider from Battlestar Galactica (updated)... The BEST Sci Fi series EVER (sorry Star Trek).

Joshua, your AC must be an alumnus of Groove City College!!
Thanks, Jeff.5K Qs ~
Four canoes (love the ram’s horn!) PLUS
your four (or is it five?) invariables must be an alternative to a gym membership.
It reminds me of the leg weights I used to have.
Thanks for liking my reshaping of my Opie’s handle!
Danger! Danger! Vince Robinson!!Better than "Lost in Space"?!? I think not!
Thanks, Tom, and congrats on the big Opinel! Thanks GT, we are getting along famously. Although so far, it has really only been used to cut food. Not sure if that is more reflective of my eating habits this time of year, or that it slightly resembles a fancy handled steak knife. Fantastic pics, the ram horn canoe is especially fetching
.
Carrying this today, a birthday/Christmas gift from my brother. It is a bit large, a number 10 Opinel, but so far not bad in the pocket (as long as it stays upright).

I'm carrying one of my Case 6217 Half Hawk knives. The one on the right as you're looking at the picture. It is the one that arrived by ambulance. It's been cleaned up pretty good since I got it and is a solid knife. It's a 10-dot (1970 manufacture) with Case Red Jigged Bone. I've been carrying it for a few weeks and will do so for some time to come. I'm thinking that the coins and keys that I carry it with in my pocket will knock off/buff out some of the minor black corrosive stains.

Case Slimline Trapper is a wonderful pocketknife...I’ve been carrying a Tribal Lock in my right front pocket (an SAK is always in my left) for several weeks now. I found it was a bit much for puttering around the house during the holidays, so I switched over to a Slimline Trapper. All the blade length, half the bulk.

Great stuff Ken!
