and of course the Taylors Eye Witness Lambsfoot...

There is just something about a Maker stamping there Logo on a Bolster or the Blade . Makes me think that they are proud of their product.
Harry
I like balde stamps, too, Harry! :cool::cool::thumbsup: Your pair is especially nice with the prophetic vision of the Lion lying down with the Lamb(sfoot). ;)

What is it? (not the knife lol) Bonus points if you can describe how it's used.

... The point is triangular, press it into the center of the crankshaft or other 1:1 pulley. Zero it before starting and one minute later it shows the RPM mechanically. Still works, can feel the precision despite it's age.
...
Astounding knife, Chief! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: And I was clueless about the tool - intriguing piece of technology! :cool::cool: How does one read RPMs from the two dials?

Wandered around downtown Los Angeles today with my wife and scored this pre 1940’s MOP EC Simmons Keen Kutter. ...
Congrats on finding an absolute gem, Nick! :eek::thumbsup::thumbsup: Irresistible iridescence!! :cool::cool:

Going to drive up to Seattle, watch the last regular season Seahawks game, and then back home. My GEC #14 will be along for the ride...
Have a safe and enjoyable, trip, John. :thumbsup::thumbsup: The Seahawks have given you kind of a roller coaster ride this season, haven't they?

Had these fellows out to Christmas dinner at a friends' last night.
...
Definitely a great color for a Christmas pair of knives, not to mention the seasonal trees on the hunter handle!! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Trestle Pine Superior for wood Wednesday

Impressive pair, Jack! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: Were they both Knife of the Year choices for you (in different years ;))?

Churchill at sunrise? Splendid knife and pic, FBC! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Thanks for expanding my horizons, John; I don't think I ever watched a single episode of that show (and don't know why not). :cool::thumbsup:;)

Four canoes (love the ram’s horn!) PLUS
your four (or is it five?) invariables must be an alternative to a gym membership.
It reminds me of the leg weights I used to have.
Thanks for liking my reshaping of my Opie’s handle!
Thanks, Jeff. :) My "dirty little (not very) secret" is that all the knives I post over the course of a week I actually carry every day of the entire week. So I'm usually carrying 16-18 knives each day, although 9-11 of them are in a "butt bag" that I carry in transit, but take off and hang on my chair at home or office.

Better than "Lost in Space"?!? I think not!
Danger! Danger! Vince Robinson!! :eek::D:thumbsup:

Thanks GT, we are getting along famously. Although so far, it has really only been used to cut food. Not sure if that is more reflective of my eating habits this time of year, or that it slightly resembles a fancy handled steak knife :). Fantastic pics, the ram horn canoe is especially fetching :thumbsup:.

Carrying this today, a birthday/Christmas gift from my brother. It is a bit large, a number 10 Opinel, but so far not bad in the pocket (as long as it stays upright).

Thanks, Tom, and congrats on the big Opinel! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

I have this one pocketed today :):thumbsup:

Superb ebony lockback, Shawn!! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Very good, but I especially like the texture of this in ram's horn...:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks, Senhor José. :) The "crater" in the pile side horn is my favorite feature of the knife.

Today I carry this Case Barlow in stag...

Beautiful stag Barlow! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Thanks for the compliment, the bolo tie was my grandfather's, and was made by the Siskiyou buckle company.
Thanks for correcting me. :thumbsup: That's an amazing family heirloom! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Thanks, Gary! Not to worry! It's 51 and raining today. Some crazy weather here. Not unlike the stock market!

I’ve been carrying a Tribal Lock in my right front pocket (an SAK is always in my left) for several weeks now. I found it was a bit much for puttering around the house during the holidays, so I switched over to a Slimline Trapper. All the blade length, half the bulk.

I'm carrying one of my Case 6217 Half Hawk knives. The one on the right as you're looking at the picture. It is the one that arrived by ambulance. It's been cleaned up pretty good since I got it and is a solid knife. It's a 10-dot (1970 manufacture) with Case Red Jigged Bone. I've been carrying it for a few weeks and will do so for some time to come. I'm thinking that the coins and keys that I carry it with in my pocket will knock off/buff out some of the minor black corrosive stains.
