What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

But the round ends just aren’t growing on me. Love the secondary blade shapes and she slices like the dickens. The color is perfect. The shield is sweet. Jigging is a dream to run my fingers across and grippy. Her only downfall is she has round ends!

Joey, I completely understand you not liking the round ends. I’m willing to take one for the team, and throw in a bonus too!!! Since the knife and your COBRA both have round ends I’ll fly down and you can get rid of both at the same time. This should end your frustration:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Lol! Good one! Funny thing is, I’d actually sell them both. The 82 would require a whole lot less though.

And in truth, I like my cars and women curvy, and my knives square ended..... lol!!!

A "thinned down" Bull Nose by Jordan, recently picked up off the sales forum:thumbsup:

Today I have something quite different, a slipjoint from Manly Knives of Bulgaria.

Cool pair, Dave.
My son went to Sofia Bulgaria a couple of years ago. He picked up this one in a little shop. Pretty rough, but it has it's charms. The backspring is a monster, scares me a bit to open.

Cutting yarn appears to be the only documented use* of a traditional pocket knife among those of us on this here porch, on this here day, the twentieth day of January, 2019.

Please thank Mrs. Northwestcut for us.

*meaning actually cutting something, not fondling or admiring:D

I've been MIA and apologize for the radio silence, just been busy after the snow of last week. A CT scan on Friday (it was kinda cool to experience and barium ain't too bad, though I did go wash my mouth out with an Imperial stout afterwards; and yesterday, we adopted a new family member: Loki, a 2 year old male Lab/Pit mix from a local rescue group. Here's a picc of Loki trying to settle in at the closest fireplace that he could find (I had 3 of our 4 fireplaces going, it's getting really cold here, well, for us):

Thanks, Dennis :D Yeah it's scary when the backspring is like a bear trap:eek: These Wasps have 4 stops like a rachet, takes a bit of getting used to.
Once you have opened and closed a couple dozen times you get the hang of it. :p

I just got back from a weekend of snowshoeing in the Adirondacks. It was a great time, making my way through 2 feet of fresh powder. I took a quick shot of the Remington while I was on the trail.
