Sharing that one with the Mrs!Mrs. Grave Fleschwund did some straightening out,and I saw this little bag sitting out when she was done. View attachment 1058489 It made me think about what it’s like looking at knives on BF or ebay with one’s wife looking over your shoulder.![]()

Those Puma lockbacks, steel and stag, are appealing knives, Senhor José!Today again with a Puma 4 Star mini, this time in stag...

Trying to choose between a barehead ebony spear and an ebony sheepsfoot with endcap would be VERY difficult. Beguiling knives, @Prester John & @Hkjay !
Thanks, Dennis. There's something poetic about having a Rough Rider and a Colt together!![]()
Commendable collection of 6 classics, @Gizler00!...
Current traditionals that I carry. Minus a few sak’s that I also have. The GEC #14 gets used quite a bit. I found the kutmaster(knife in center) in an old sewing box from my wife’s grandmother not sure on any other details of it or year. The Camillus was my dads from his time in the service. The date says 1966. I never use it. Not sure why. I just keep it in a case.
Dynamic dyad, Alan!A couple of brown users for me today.View attachment 1057118 View attachment 1057119
Energetic exercise and exemplary stag make for an excellent day, Ron!We got up this morning and I made us a protein smoothie for breakfast. Then we went to the Y and worked out for over an hour. So far I’m down 5 since Monday!I’ve dropped these two Sambar Stag favorites in my pocket for the rest of the day!

Thanks, Gary.
I am not sure if it has turned darker or not. If it has, it has been gradually, of course. Not always easy to tell with photographs because of different lighting. I have handled it a lot, though.
Yeah, I forget what an influence lighting and background can have on the appearance of a knife.Para el domingo:...
I need to get some white gloves to wear when I use it, though.I see you're coming over to the light side with that one.![]()
You being you...paid in colors![]()

Thanks,Beautiful knives, I especially like this one (Colonial)...![]()
Thanks for the helpful info, Ed.Yes, it is a single spring model. I cleaned it up since I posted it and will be carrying it again today. I have to keep it quarantined when I'm not carrying it because it has cell covers. It's a shame really because the knife itself is really nice; superb at slicing and general carry duty. It was made in 1998. I have 2-4 more of them with various covers; none of the others seem to be out-gassing like this one. They ride in the pocket so nice.

That big shadow stag is a complete knockout, Alan!4 1/2" X 2 = 9" of beautiful stag.View attachment 1057724
Thanks for the reply, John; laudable stands! No, I have many more hiding in drawers. ...
Marvelous Tip-Top, Jeff! There’s something special about old, lovingly worn, smooth bone covers on an old working knife.
Happy Sunday!

I'm a day late with the pic, but most days I use pocket knives in the kitchen. Sunday I dismembered some vegetables:Cutting yarn appears to be the only documented use* of a traditional pocket knife among those of us on this here porch, on this here day, the twentieth day of January, 2019.
Please thank Mrs. Northwestcut for us.

Hey Paul - a black box Winchester, model 2991 from 1988. I think they called it an equal end pen knife, 3 1/2 inches long or so with a clip and a spear blade.
Thanks for the compliments and encouragement Gary!Energetic exercise and exemplary stag make for an excellent day, Ron!Continued success with the weight loss!
