What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Great knives and great book. Although I've not read it in many years, there was a time when you could read any sentence from any part of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and I'd recite the next 3 sentences just for fun.
Thanks, David. I may reread that one too, although I've read it within the last five years. Those two you can read over and over. You must have a photographic memory!

I didn’t start today with these, but bought them at our local annual knife show. The Camillus is supposed to be pre 1940, but I am not an expert. The custom fixed blade is about 6 inches in total length, and 1095 steel.

Great pick-up on the Camillus. It has a lot of character to it.

Actually my memory isn't that great, but I did read that book several times;) I love to read, once shocked a 5th grade teacher because I didn't want to read an assigned book because I was in the middle of another book. She asked what I was reading I said " a John Steinbeck" she asked if I was reading Of Mice and Men, I said " Already read that one, this ones called Grapes of Wrath" she looked at me like

Thanks Buzz! I told the seller I was actually going to use it, he smiled and remarked “put that back” :)

Never feel bad about using it. Even if you lose it or totally mess it up, there are still 3,282,987 more of them out there to replace it. So it’s not like they’re especially rare. But they are exceptionally useful and well made.

Make sure to take lots of pics and post them in the

I like your philosophy, Buzz.

Along for the ride today.

Looking out my kitchen window at the visitors to my bird feeders. So it seems the birds have allowed the Turkeys and Whitetails to visit. Soon it will be the squirrels and then more birds. I could buy a lot more knives if I stopped buying bird seed!

Very cool French Knife!
Ditto on the money spent on sunflower seeds! But it sure is fun watching the action.
