What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That sounds like a great Y! We have several indoor ranges but none in our YMCA! In 1975 a lot of things were different!
My high school in Western NY had a rifle team with a range in the school basement. In the mid-1960’s, the coach used to send kids home with a .22 and ammo ... ON THE BUS!! It was indeed a different age!

Sticking with the Camillus WW2 army engineer knife today.

The backdrop used for this picture is a WW2 M1941 haversack. It's a small backpack by today's standards, but is a fun little daypack for big kids and young adults.

That's an attractive folder right there for sure,

Thanks, I put off grabbing this one. I am glad that I didn't wait too long.

Congrats on that slim slicer, FBC!:thumbsup::thumbsup: That red jigged bone is real attractive!
Thank you, GT. The "slim slicer" part is exactly what I like about this one so much. That wharncliffe blade is wicked.

Hammer Brand.:cool::thumbsup: Celluloid covers? Do you think there's been some outgassing or is the corrosion just general neglect?
It's the celluloid skin over hollow handles. The rust doesn't look particularly cellish to me, but I should peel that stuff off. I want to pop off the covers anyway, and peen the rivet a bit where the main blade has a lot of lateral play.

Tom & Jeff, it looks like you guys had a successful knife show experience!!:cool::thumbsup:

Thanks, Tom, for your kind comments. :) Your Camillus scout has great colors for the rocks on your "other" shooting range! ;):thumbsup:

Thanks GT, we had a great time (Jeff @black mamba, Rick @Railsplitter , Scott @pearl2291 and myself). At least at my other “shooting” range I don't miss as often :D

These two with me today. The lime green on the custom fixed blade doesn't really have the classic traditional look, but it is 1095 and I think if someone had this a few hundred years ago, they would recognize what it is and how to use it :)

Didn't get out much today just out to the store for cat food and back. Dropped my new Camillus 23 in my pocket.

So glad to see someone else totin the Camillus Heavy Jack!
Such a great knife, and yours looks like it’s been fancied up some! What is that handle material? Did you do it yourself?

I have two #23s, but both sport the original Ivoroid. You’ve inspired me to give one of them some carry time.
But for right now, this Voos is not going back in the cigar box. It’s one of my favorites, a perfect little jack.
