• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

    Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Cool knife, cool song.
Thanks, man, I found that cassette in a box of my old stuff. I found myself laughing and enjoying the tunes so I thought I would share. I started a "traditional knives and records" thread awhile back maybe it's time for a Traditional knives and cassettes thread. ;)

Totin' my ol' ebony 15 today.

Schrade Walden 899 will be going into my pocket for the first time tomorrow morning. I got this last year and the handles were full of mastic. I finally got it somewhat cleaned up and touched up the edges. I soaked it in WD40 for literally months. I did a few different treatments of hot water to loosen the mastic, glue, or whatever is in the grooves. It will make a nice user.

I love those ebony 15s!

I had a lot of cassettes at one time, and a lot of LPs. 45s too. All gone now and mostly replaced with CDs. I wonder how many would have cassettes to post? Or 8-tracks?

Good job of cleaning it up. :thumbsup:

Late night post, but had to get this in. Carried my LUCKY talisman, my 2013 ebony Clip/Pen TC. That TC bolster passes between my fingers almost the entire game:thumbsup: Continued the Tradition of Patriot texting that Bob and I did for a few years with Bob's daughter Lan and added Ron and Randy in the mix. Also threw in an email from Harry and pm with Peter:thumbsup::cool:

Hats off to the L.A. Rams:thumbsup:

Here you go Bob...PATRIOTS WIN:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Well done on the cleanup. I have a couple of 899's just like yours with that elegantly shaped spey. The 899 is as slim as a slim stockman gets. Later models had a sheepsfoot instead of the spey, none of those had bone handles though.
