After all the discussions of Wood vs Jigged Bone , I thought today was a day to get back to reality of what I really prefer . This last month or two has been very un-ordinary and I have not been able to keep up with THE CAR ON THE ICE ON THE LAKE 2019 .This time in 2017 and 2018 it was IN THE LAKE . Check the Date Stamp :

I prefer to carry Stag when ever possible . 73 & 43

Harry
Thank you Harry for the compliment on my Case Classic Whittler. I agree, this Winter is distinctly different (colder and more snow here) that the last two Winters. I love the Stag duo your carrying today. Both are fantastic Stag but when you stopped to visit last year I had the pleasure of handling that GORGEOUS 43:cool: quite simply, one of the nicest Stag knives I've ever handled:thumbsup: and that takes NOTHING from the 73;)

A Stag 76 Western Outlaw in FANTASTIC Stag that I was fortunate enough to purchase from Lance. I LOVE the Spey blade with it's LOOOOONG Swedge:thumbsup:

I’m celebrating Old Friends Friday with an Opinel I bought mail order back in the ‘70s for a spring break backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail. Recently fixed it’s broken tip. Not sure if I have a better slicer.
The Camillus 68 Premium Stock Knife is so far my best flea market find. Only $6.
Full of gunk, very little snap left on the main, and the delrin was faded to an ugly vomit color. Cleaned up well, and some brown Rit dye helped the handles.
I agree with @Buzzbait about the near perfect utility of a punch stock knife. This one has the cool spiral cuts on the back of the punch.View attachment 1087580The amp is ready for rehearsal tonight for tomorrows gig in the old barn.
