What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I don’t typically use folding knives for food, but experience has taught me that having a knife with a longish stainless blade occasionally comes in handy when dining out...as it did this evening.

Expect me to cut my oversized cheeseburger in half with a butter knife? I don’t think so.

Fine knife in lovely condition Stuart

Thanks and that's a nice dark pair there, Jack.

Creamy and dreamy and so dang useful. Great pair, Jeff.

These two for Tuesday! :)

Love that ironwood lambfoot, Ron.

The Jess Horn inspired zulu has got to be one of my favorite patterns.

Very sweet, Alan! That's some groovy stag. Does the shield lay flush to the cover?

Hanging with the Camillus today is a new one that arrived yesterday. This is my first Case large stockman. I decided to go with yellow Delrin and CV steel, since I've enjoyed that combination so much on my Case medium punch stockman.

Thanks for the great review and picture, Buzz. I don't need another knife, but all of the fine yellow Delrin Cases being posted are pushing me hard.

Imperial USN today

That's a great pictures of some fine jigged bone, Steve. Thanks (again) for sharing yet another beauty.

Thank you, Dwight, for a fine picture of a very handsome knife.

That's pretty special, Alan. Great pic.

Both of them are exceedingly attractive jacks. But the jigging on that Schrade!!! So much depth.

Amazing knives Stuart but I'm with Buzz - the Schrade Cut Co is truly dreamy with those scales.

Two beautiful jacks Stuart! The Schrade Cut Co made me drool! Outstanding my friend!

Two beauties Stuart, that Schrade jigging is outstanding

Thanks, guys.

Taking a little drive with Dad through some old stomping grounds...

Those are great trips. I hope that you get to have some more.

Those are fine looking, RB.

Spring is coming in good company.

That is a lot of beauty, José. Thank you for sharing.

Was on the go ALLLLLLL day today with ZERO time to take any pictures of todays carry so will have to use OLD pics of my Cataraugus & 1970's Case Congresses .

Pictures, old or new, of fine old knives are always welcomed by me, Harry. Keep 'em coming.

El Cid may have carried a sword, but I'm sure he had one of these stashed on his person:

Thanks and that's a nice dark pair there, Jack.

Thank you very much Stuart :)

While I was in the Land of Nod, the Guardians thread passed 800 pages :) So I am celebrating with a Double Lambsfoot Day! :) Any excuse! ;) :D

D Duckdog Good morning Stuart. The Nguni sowbelly arrived yesterday and I’ll carry it for a few days to see if I bond with it.
The Jess Horn zulu is one of my favorites and yes the shield is fitted smooth to the stag. On the right side there is a very minor edge you can feel with your fingernail. It is almost imperceptible so it’s meaningless as far as I’m concerned.

Arrived monday, but gale wind and foul weather prevented to picture her before. Lovely curves of wood both side, blade perfectly centeredby far my n°1 nail breaker.:)

She def ruined my right thumb's nail and can't try the left one because it was victim of a fast closing (faster than me for sure) Laguiole.
Sorry , not a picture for the faint- hearted, keep children away. o_O:D:D
