What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Since it arrived in the mail today:thumbsup:

That's a cool one, Paul.

I started this overhaul two years ago.I was spraying the lacquer on this guitar on July 25, 2017, when I went in to check on my son and found he had passed. Kind of lost interest in it for a year and a half.
So this guitar will always be a Resurrection Guitar to me ~ not just because I finished it on Easter weekend, but because of reborn hope and joy of living. And the $99 pawn shop Squier rose from the pile ‘o dead parts
Jeff this post sucked the breath out of me. I didn't know. No words my friend.

Happy Saturday all...
John I jumped up and ran outside to see if you had pilfered it while I was asleep! :D Nice pic buddy.

Great pic, Dwight. Right up my alley
Thank you Pinemoon.

Ryu along for stag Saturday at work then on to Easter service this evening.

Lovely Lambs there, boys
Thanks Stuart.

After a few yard chores, I'll be loafing with Loki. I'm totin' an Eldon Courtney folder today.

Beautiful knife and Loki. I love dogs.

Your beautiful knife prompted me to take out my Kawamura.

Another notable beauty.

That polished Pere David is a lovely one José.

Yesterday and today.
Stunning knife Nick.

I’m carrying Stag and Horn today. They are one of my classiest pairings if I do say so myself! I hope y’all have a blessed weekend!
Good grief those are so nice!

Since it arrived in the mail today and in my pocket while staining the rear deck:thumbsup:

Thank you Dwight, I just sold my Deck Restoration business after 18 fantastic years. I have had other offers in the past to sell but felt happy finally selling to a former employee of mine. He shares the same work ethic and commitment to customer service, so that gives me great satisfaction as well as peace of mind:thumbsup:

You sir are apparently one of those... what do they call them... Oh Yes!!! ... "MOTIVATED individuals!!" :D One full-time endeavor's not enough for you entrepreneurs! Just kidding you my friend. :D The wood on that deck is glorious. Well done.

Thanks Stuart, you still have boxes UNOPENED?!!!

Yes, a few, and that's the "giving gift". Oh, and I am a slacker.

Cool pics, and a great-looking knife :)

Thanks, Jack.

That's a very cool pair, David. Gunstock AND congress stockman!!

Perfect picture, José.

Yesterday and today.

I can see why.

Bodacious covers, Ron, on handsome knives.

Doing the same here on the back deck with a cigar. Very nice knife.

Beautiful knife and Loki. I love dogs.

Thanks, Dwight, and Loki sends his love. Be thankful that you are not within licking distance!

My vote for Post of the Night! Congratulations, Paul, for your success and ethical compass. Enjoy some time off.

View attachment 1114209 Sticking with the little Klein slicer again. It proved it’s worth on several occasions yesterday as I plugged in the soldering iron and finally got this guitar finished.

Sorry to hear about your son. I know about that.
That’s a pretty cool Squire. Those things are true workhorses. My old black and white served time as a house guitar at a couple of venues before they closed and I reclaimed it. It’s been battered bruised and abused and still works just fine. Squires are really underrated. I wonder how many rock stars got their start on a Squire and a ten watt amp. Good for you, giving this one the time and attention it deserves!

upload_2019-4-21_0-33-21.jpeg I acquired this Tiki version of a douk-douk today and it promptly dove into my purse, where it will stay. It’s the perfect ‘big knife’ to have stashed away, as it has a decently sturdy blade and a very thin handle. It’s also sharp enough to be a little scary!

It was a chore day today, so the Oregon Trapper joined the Camillus.

The 'chores' appear to include creating a very pleasing shot-not your feet I mean ;)

The picture underlines the attraction of both agéd bone and worn-in micarta, both very different yet both so well suited to use and aesthetic appreciation- form and function- most impressive!:thumbsup:

Was a fine day in the garden yesterday, today not quite so good but I will be out with secateurs to trim some fruit trees. The Hares have chewed up one tree but it will survive.

This will be coming along too, even the 'Special Ones' have to work ;)

Got this as back-up too..
