• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

I am spending the day with my siblings, brother and sister in-laws, and my nieces and nephews. We don’t all get together at the same time and place often, so I am very much looking forward to it. I’ll be on grill duty, so I have my favorite “bbq blade” with me, the Remington saw scout. The day will also be a patina forming opportunity for the Winchester :). Hope everyone is having a fine Easter Sunday.

Enjoy the mini "traplifter."
They're great (as Tony the Tiger says). I have the same version and voted it my 2018 knife of the year in Jack B's poll last year. You've inspired me to tote mine today

Great pic, Dwight. Right up my alley ;)

Weekend carry.
Be well, all

Thank you Stuart:thumbsup:

Very nice find Paul, nice work on that deck too
Thanks also Jack, hope you are well:thumbsup:

Nice knife and great job on the deck ! What brand of stain did you use ? I've used Wolmans F&P for years but always looking for something that will hold up better here in Minnesota.
Thanks Steve, I find all your carries deserve the "Like" button:thumbsup: Wolmans is very good, we use a product called "Ready Seal" since 1995 so I'm a bit bias when come to exterior deck stains, the most popular color is Natural Cedar which is the color I put on my deck.

Paul how'd you like that beertrap?
I'm impressed Taylor and of late I have had good luck with recent Case purchases:thumbsup:

Thanks on both points, Lance!
After a thorough set up, I played it for a couple hours last night. The pickups are everything I'd hoped they would be. They were hand wound by a guy out in the Buffalo area, John Benson.
As for losing a loved one, it's tough, but we do get through it. I purposely decided not to remove the Squier and Made In China decals because I'm not trying to fool anybody and don't give a rip about what brand snobs might think ~ it's what you can do with it, right?
But I am thinking about re-labeling it the "Jasoncaster" in honor of my boy...
Jeff, I don't know you nor did I know your son Jason, but that had me tearing up.

Glad you got a good one, Paul.
The mini "trap with cap" is one of those patterns I purchased two of, in case I loose one. I like it that much :)
