What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Listened to this at breakfast yesterday. Made me teary-eyed from laughing. :p:thumbsup::cool:
That is hilarious! Missed it the first time.
I'm not a Mason, but I like the square and dividers/compass (and letter "G") in the Masonic logo, and I've lately developed a huge empathy for the "In Search of More Light" motto.
I like the square & compass, too, and "G" is the initial of my last name. Some of my favourite presidents were Masons.

Lovely euro-pair, Vince! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks, Gary.

Looking good Taylor :)

Nice pairing Vince

Toting the Brothers Barlow again today ;) Have a great day folks

Beautiful Jack!!!:cool::cool::cool:

I've seen enough of Steve's knives to know he can pull out a winning hand, GT. My stepfather told me: if you are playing cards and can't tell who the pigeon is, you're the pigeon. I do have these up my sleeve though:

It seems your stepfather was a very wise man Stuart! I am glad you didn’t show these good folks all of your Winterbottom Queens at one time! It would probably be more than some of them could handle! I still have the images burned in my memory! ;)

Inspired by Nick's @kai76 Miller Brothers posting today, I popped this one in my pocket for Wooden Wednesday totin'.

That’s such a beautiful knife Stuart! They are so well made!

I’m still in awe of these two beauties! I thought it was appropriate to show them again along with your previous two posts! :D Thank you again my friend! :D

Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals is tonight. My Blues are facing a tough Boston Bruins team. I haven’t shaved in weeks (the playoff beard is a tradition in the National Hockey League), and I am carrying my Blues inspired trio of knives. I have had great fun this post season, regardless of the final score tonight.

JMHgpoj.jpg

Looking forward to the game myself. Game 7s are AWESOME!
Go Blues!

Best two words in sports ... ‘GAME SEVEN!’ I’ve got the Bruins in my pool, but seeing your knives has me saying GO BLUES!!! It’s been a great playoff season.

Though I am an unabashed Kings fan (despite them ending the season as one of the worst teams in the League), I was very much pulling for a Blues win and I was thrilled to see them get it done. Nothing against Boston but one does get tired of seeing them win all the darn time... Unless, of course, you happen to be from Boston. :D After getting walloped in Game 6 on their own ice, the Blues returned the favor to take home the Cup. Just terrific.

That's a great pic Dylan :)

Thank you, Jack!

Great minds think alike Dylan!

They do indeed, I like your style.

Beautiful Dwight! A pair that is not only stunning to look at, but extremely versatile with the blade choices you have! :)

Dwight is a cool name, especially when its attached to the fantastic pictures he puts out. ;) Sadly, I can't take credit for his name but I surely can take credit for the pictures above, thank you for the kind compliments. Either knife would excel on its own but I never have been accused of being practical when it comes to knives. :D

Woo Hoo! World-class Wednesday wood, John & David & Dylan & Dave & Taylor

Thank you, GT!

Stuart, that is more Winterbottom bone I have seen in one picture, ever!:thumbsup: Also, thank you for your comments about my Schrade Barlow.

Thanks a lot Stuart, I love that pic! :D

Beautiful :)

Magnificent Stuart! Always love seeing that one. Truly a beauty!!

Wow! That is a stunning knife, a real heart stopper.

Both you and @kai76 and your Millers ~
Words fail!

Stuart, that is certainly an attractive old Miller Brothers; Wow!

Thanks, guys.

Going with a couple in Ironwood for today.

Lovely grain, Dylan, as is that in @Dschal 's post.

5K Qs 5K Qs Thank you GT. Those Sailors are beautiful.

I love the texture captured in your picture, Harvey.

@Jack Black so is that gifted 66, Jack.

A beauty Jack.

At the beach again today and have this little Robeson No-Rustain with me.

Old equal end pen with tip bolsters = perfection, Nick.

Today it looks like I'll pair up a tough, old Camillus soldier with a new GEC recruit :)

Very nice old Camillus, JJ.

Toting the Brothers Barlow again today ;) Have a great day folks

Still a handsome pair, Jack.

View attachment 1144068 Checking out the kale with these guys.

Your kale krewe brightened my day, Jeff.

Gorgeous, Alan.

Thanks for the compliment Stuart! That’s a great bit of info about Queen and their use of various steels. Just a bit of information that some here may not know. The building that houses Great Eastern Cutlery was once the lab of Cyclops Steel Company. GEC uses the Cyclops Steel Works stamp on their 440C stainless steel models. Here’s a couple of photos for reference.

Harvey, that’s a great photo of your AC! Yours has some beautiful Stag! Come to think of it, they are all beauties!

I’m carrying two today. I have a favorite Case Copperhead in Tru Sharp that kept me company while I enjoyed my last cup of coffee for the morning and my Ebony ‘18 Guardians Lambsfoot. :D

Had this in my pocket today and now while I am about to see the BLUES wrap it up 4 to 0 with a little over 4 minutes left .

Whetstone39 Whetstone39 ~

I'm happy for you and your Blues, Tom.
I watched the entire game, except for when I fell asleep for about 45 minutes. When I woke up, of course my wife had changed the channel to HGTV. When I managed to overpower her and regain control of the remote, it was just in time for the last two minutes.

Next time I scrape up some interest in a sports team, I'll be sure to ask you what knives to carry for luck!

Congrats (and Gloria), Tom; I hope the Blues reserve a seat for you and your team-colored knife trios in the victory parade!!:thumbsup::D:cool:

Whetstone39 Whetstone39 - Congrats on a great outcome ... one of the biggest in-season turnarounds ever. Turns out I still won my pool because, no one picked the Blues?!? As a long suffering Sabres fan, I am jealous. Enjoy!!

Thank you all, and especially thank you for putting up with my repeated posts of the same 3 knives while their respective luck was holding. I was able to enjoy the game at a sold out watch party on the Blues home ice at Enterprise Center last night. It was an incredible experience for all Blues fans, I have never seen so many strangers hugging each other. The Cardinals opened Busch Stadium for a watch party, and even though it poured rain for a while they didn't leave. Fans met the team at the airport this morning. I purchased a bunch of celebratory gear, luckily it all fits (I checked this morning). Thank you again for putting up with me :).

I am keeping the beard until I have seen the Stanley Cup with my own eyes at the parade Saturday, and it seems really bad karma to break up this trio until at least then.

I'm happy for St Louis and the Blues. It's not just a baseball town. Sounds like you had a blast!

A fine trio, Gary; and your '1st Case' is one to be proud of. One day I'm going to buy a brown Delrin Case.

Dylan, please accept my humble apology! I assure you I know exactly who you and Dwight are! Dang autofill got me again! At any rate the compliment on those two Ironwood beauties was definitely meant for you sir! :)

A great addendum, Ron, and a fine pairing.
Thank you my friend! :)
