Best made knife I have owned. Like a lot of others on the Porch, I am a sucker for a Sowbelly. I have been looking for my ideal version which, to me, has to be jigged bone with a traditional corset shield. How could I pass this one up? Although I had to sell half a dozen factory knives to pay for it! Good thing my wife thinks all knives are created equal and sell for about 100 bucks a pop! I hope she never figures out the reality.

    Happy Monday, everyone.

I've had this with me the last couple of days. It should be receiving a companion dressed in something fine later today.

Nice find! Easily worth a half dozen factory knives!

A little Mammoth for Monday. Have a great week, folks!

Today it’s a Bill Ruple sowbelly with a punch/awl in place of the spey blade. The stag has some great burnt orange. I’d call this a medium size at right around 3.75”.

It’s very similar in size and pattern to my Chamblin sowbelly in gold lip pearl. Both fantastic knives.

It is. But, I'm trying to stay on topic. I wonder if anyone makes a water bottle mount fixed blade sheath? :p

Garden and yard work for the K55 which carries nicely in a Mini Mag holster.

I agree the sowbelly is a great pattern. While I usually prefer multi-blade traditionals, I’d say you made a great choice clearing out some production knives for that beauty from Ken. Nice knife!

Changed over to this one this evening. Man I'd forgotten how much I loved a single layer Alox in hand.

Tom, The sheath was made by Paul Long for another knife of mine. It just so happens to work wonderfully with this Eldon Talley City Knife also.

.....dang! @Leslie Tomville That is a lovely pocket knife.......the kinda pocket knife you'd be turning over with your fingers in your pocket with a rather satisfied glow across your face

Hello everyone. I haven't been on here in such a long time. You all know how life gets sometimes.
Work is always consuming but it sure helps when you got a trustworthy knife in your pocket.
