Thank you Gevonovich Gevonovich @Chui and @Peregrin for your compliments and, much more, for your imparting your knowledge.

Gev, Paul, and Gary, in a very real way, the three of you, along with other knowledgeable members of the Porch, have helped me to reach this place in my collecting. I have learned so much from reading your posts and viewing photographs of your amazing knives over the years. This hobby truly is a process. Like horseback riding or martial arts; you never finish learning. It is a life long journey. And finally, do you mind if I send you a bill for causing me to spend so much money?

Helping my boss move some stuff around in storage, found these cool old posters. The place advertised is about a mile from where we live. She used to help their neighbors run the event, and did some barrel racing there. They no longer hold rodeo events, but still have several teams of draft horses and do events with carriages and wagons, they even have a stage coach. Boss said finding these brought up some good memories.

Best made knife I have owned. Like a lot of others on the Porch, I am a sucker for a Sowbelly. I have been looking for my ideal version which, to me, has to be jigged bone with a traditional corset shield. How could I pass this one up? Although I had to sell half a dozen factory knives to pay for it! Good thing my wife thinks all knives are created equal and sell for about 100 bucks a pop! I hope she never figures out the reality.
It was well worth it even though you had to give up some nice ones.

Hello everyone. I haven't been on here in such a long time. You all know how life gets sometimes.
Work is always consuming but it sure helps when you got a trustworthy knife in your pocket.

Cool pic.

I think that knife has the most rugged looking covers I've ever seen, Dwight!
Hahaha! It's never been carried Dean but that is some great scale material for sure. :)
