What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

OK, I have to ask. I have two Calf Roper 66s. I love the design, size and feel. But, both have wimpy springs on the two small blades that have weak hold-open pressure. I can easily roll both closed with my index finger. Is yours the same? Great Eastern Cutlery told me that’s just how they are.
My first generation #66 stockman seem to have a little more snap than the later knives had.

Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund What wonderful news, Jeff. I know that you'll be a heck of a grandpa (just don't cross grandma).

So, you've met Grandma, huh?
Thanks, Stuart.
Hey, that little SW jack is sweet!

An older Remington spear/pen jack with bone handles, and a brand spank'n new GEC #29 with acrylic handles today.View attachment 1174188View attachment 1174189
