Probably my most treasured.
Thanks Gary ! your stag Canoe is sublime !
Thanks JJ !
You really should! They are beautifully made. The only other vintage barlow I can compare it to is one of Imperials.
Böker is SOOO much nicer. Look at the hafting:
Imperial's imitation of bolsters and delrin is no match:
It even changed my attitude towards delrin as cover material. It held up very nicely.
My biggest gripe with the knife is that the blades are stainless.
I have a lot of delrin covered knives, and cannot think of anything tougher for a hard use knife.
We should have a delrin appreciation thread here!
This one because I’m smoking 30lbs of chicken breast for a church picnic, and plan on dividing them.
These two because, well I don’t know, just because. A stockman and a jack is a good pocket package.
Have a great Sunday!
Wishing everybody a peaceful Sunday.
This one today
Queen #61 stockman, 1958-1960.
Nice Stockman Stuart !
Have a peaceful Sunday, folks!
Halfrich "Jack Russell" spending Sunday with me. Pocket sheath by Paul Long.
That's a striking knife. Got more pics? Who made it?
JOELSM, that Autumn Leaf is my favorite #83, love the color and the jigging! I've pocketed both my Guardians' lambfoot RALF and a French Ivory Camillus 66 this morning.
Thanks John. I don't have too many pics of it, I find it very difficult to take good ones of the nacre.
