Got this in the mail today. Case sawcut jig brown bone CV tribal lock. Beautiful knife with good ergonomics.

Here's to a Wonderful Wednesday*for all. I'm totin' an Aerial senator (1912-1944) and a Miller Bros. barehead jack (1872-1926) today.

Lovely knives Stuart !

Toted these all day today. Queen made Moore Maker Gunstock Trapper and Gerber Silver Knight in watch pocket that was another flea market find.

This for me today. 2012 Case Peanut in yellow Delrin. The proletariat of the knife world :). Another find from the flea market. Didn't do anything but wipe and oil this one. First Peanut I've ever had, time to see what all the fuss is about!

That Silver Knight looks handsome and handy, Chris. The yellow slabbed peanut is a classic and in great condition. Kudos! I think you'll really come to like it.

Porch kindness has struck again! When the Porch member known as Leslie Tomville told me that he wanted to gift me this amazing Case Sowbelly, I told him he was craaaazy and when it showed up I knew for sure he was craaazy!

That's a powerful piece of porkbelly, and a gracious gesture by @Leslie Tomville .

D Duckdog - Thank you Stuart. You have a beautiful collection.

Thanks, Harvey. I went out to the truck and grabbed the missing 2011 mini trapper for a photo with his cousin.

Today with Case mini trapper stag of 1990.;)

That's what I'm talking about. Well done, José. That's a nice one

For wooden Wednesday I'll be toting a couple from France; a Le Provincial by Au Sabot wearing olive wood and a Le Thiers by Chambraird wearing fragrant juniper wood.

Beautiful stuff, JJ. My Pavlovian response to the mention or smell of juniper is to mix a Martini (well, maybe later).

"Plain" Canoe of the Week is a Rough Rider Bolster Stripes canoe; great jigging on this one:

That one sets me adrift, GT, though the tobacco-hued sowbelly is quite a looker, too.

Pal utility jack

Your PAL packs a substantial spear, Jeff.

Gorgeous, Mark.

I’m sitting in the ICU with my BIL again today. Holding the same so he may get to a regular room in a couple days. I’ve got a #54 SFO Single Spear helping to hold the fort down! :)

Great news, Ron. Here's hoping for brighter tomorrows. I like that gifted jigging and dye job on the 54's covers.

Nice knives caught in lovely portraits, Harvey.

A couple of Utica Kutmasters today

I showed your picture to my small group of Kutmasters so they would know what the are supposed to look like. Very nice, Steve.

Ok, no pics, but I recently got a case 6165 SAB in (I thought red bone) wood scales and brass bolsters, with a lanyard hole
No dot, so I'm thinking 65, because of the lanyard hole but all those I see have nickel silver bolsters.
It was rough when I got it, cleaned up beautiful, 400 grit sandpaper, and steel wool, left pastina on the blade.
Pocket wear is probably the most I have ever seen, must be 40 50 years worth.
Put a bees waxed dogbain lanyard on it
Good snap on open and close.
Sharpened to a razor's edge, 4 inches of scary sharp blade.
Loving it.
But, anybody got any ideas how old, all the ones I see with lanyard holes are after 65? But no brass.

One thing GEC does extremely well IMHO is faithfully adhere to some classic patterns. Your nice jack could have come from a 100 year old time capsule.

I noticed your backdrop. I have gotten easily adjusted to no longer being tethered to such scheduling, in fact just seeing yours made me a little bit queasy. It looks like you only have from 11:20 to 11:30 to look at knives on BF!

I grew up near Aurora, Illinois- is that the Aurora on your schedule?

Great beauty there, my friend! Do you carry those in a slip?

Whenever you clean out a sink trap, you can tell the ladies in the house “you’re not losing your hair- it was right here!”

International Knife of the Week is one my daughter bought me in Toledo, Spain, but it wasn't made in the shop where she bought it. @dc50 Dave, you have a model like this; will you please tell me sometime what tang stamp is on yours or whatever you know concerning maker (might be Nieto?), model, etc? @Llasi once identified it for me, but I've apparently misplaced that information.

Watch pocket Knife this week is a Rough Rider tobacco bone canittler:

Big Knife of the Week is a Rough Rider improved muskrat, also in smooth tobacco bone (just pure luck that I'm carrying 3 RR in tobacco bone this week :thumbsup::thumbsup:):

Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is a Camillus Blac Jaket muskrat (again, just a coincidence that I have 2 muskrats this week):

Thank you, sir. The Peanut performed admirably today. Likely to be a frequent watch pocket visitor.

Chris, I liked your Peanut so much that I swapped out my woodies for some smaller totes to end the evening: a Queen #42 (an 1/8" shorter than the Peanut) and a Schrade 108OT (the same size as the "Nut). Easing through the night.
