Most excellent, Gev! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Dean, yes, the serial number is S16617. Is yours not a Walden with that low number?
I also have a Walden with number A0972 that has the lovely gimping on the liners.

Yes, I have three: My favorite which I got in 1986 is Schrade; the Schrade Walden which you identified (mine doesn't have as nice gimping as yours) and another Schrade with a serial number of SO3955. I've never found another stockman that is a "slenderino" as you said. They have a lot of blade, perfectly fitted to ensure no blade rub, etc. Sigh, I miss Schrade USA.

It disappears in my pocket like nothing else. I always have to fish it out.
I guess that's why they call 'em Fish Knives. :p

Jack Black Jack Black , I don't remember if the ones I sent you were real Mikov knives, or China-made versions. Just goes to show that nothing's too cheap to make cheaper. :D

It's another Palindromic Day, whether you write it as: 9/10/19, or 9/10/2019.
If you write it European style...never mind. ;)

Thank you JJ!! I can’t bring myself to use some oldies I have but at the same time don’t like leaving them at home so I also carry a user knife(usually another oldie:)) for cutting. The bone on your scout knife is excellent, love it when the jigging goes all the way to the bolsters!
Thanks Nick!!! I'm the same way as I'll always have a "hard use" knife or two to go along with my older, light duty slicers.;)
Wow, great looking knives! The toothpick is gorgeous and the bone on the Kutmaster is beautiful. :thumbsup:
Thank you Dean!!! I love seeing any Buck knife, like yours, as I have excellent memories of my Bucks over the last 50 years!:thumbsup::thumbsup::rolleyes:
Had to poke a few holes. Love the locking awl on the scout.
What an excellent working knife for anyone; among the most underrated patterns I know of!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Regular Stockman of the Week is a Case Humpback (thanks, Mike):

Thank you JJ. Great jigging on both. Love the toothpick.
Thank you Harvey!!! Very cool bone color and blade selection on your 77!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
