Very nice! Reminds me of my IKCO stamped cattle knife. Psst, don't tell anybody how nice the old Hammer, Imperial, IKCO knives are that way we can pick them all up cheap.
Thanks and we would love to see your IKCO if your of a mind ! ;):)

I have been searching for this one for a long time. GEC may not do jigging as well as Case, but their sawcut bone is far superior to what Case is currently producing. GEC always nails the angle of the saw cut, and the lines are so crisp and precise. Case doesn’t seem to pay attention to that level of detail which is critical to the look of the knife in my opinion.

BTW, love that red Scout btmccutcheon btmccutcheon !

Classic

My two Thursday totes are a couple of pre WWII budget slicers developed by Imperial during the Great Depression; both "Hammer Brands," a stockman and a medium toothpick.:)

And in fabulous condition JJ :)

Today's carry: Case SB jr in CV and my constant carry G. Ibberson Burma Knife.

Today I’m carrying a 1970 Case Barlow and a Pere David Stag Lambsfoot from Wright’s!

Thank you Dean and back at you with your Amber Bone. I have to admit that my Stag doesn't see the pocket time that my Amber Bone does:thumbsup:

Thank you, Paul. I can see why you'd want to spend a lot of time with that Stag!

Thank you Dean, I have always been fond of this one, but I keep forgetting to take it out of my pocket! :D

@JJ Cahill ~ thanks! Great old Hammer Brands there.
@Half/Stop ~ I still like that white stag A.Wright! Haven’t changed my mind, nope. And lovely Barlow, too.

@Travman ~ Love that Orchard Gem. Is it new to you?

I really like this stockman. But some previous custodian decided to work the blades over with sandpaper.o_O
I suspect the auctionsite seller, because of the artful way his photography de-emphasized the ham handed clean up.

I have bought some rust buckets and “for parts or repair pocket knives”, where taking sandpaper to the blades was justifiable/necessary. Or when reprofiling a blade. The thing is, you don’t stop at some medium grit. Once you start, you really need to go up through the grades of sandpaper, each removing the scratches from the previous until it shines. Unless you’re just a hack.

Still a great Camillus. I’d sport that.
