What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you JJ. Both Trappers are beautiful. If I had my druthers, the 43 would be for me.

Thank you Harvey; the 43 is quite an excellent GEC pattern!!!:D
Your grand old Sheffield sailors knife is quite the robust beauty; I'll bet that "old salt" has some cool tales!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thank you for the compliment ! And the Furtaker is one I covet. They need to do another run :rolleyes:
Thank you Gev; I wholeheartedly agree!!!;)
Another lovely old knife that's filled with hidden stories; A. Kastor began his legendary cutlery career with these wonderful German marvels!:rolleyes::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Since about 10:30 when it arrived in the mail box. These don't seem to get much love lol. But I seen it and thought it was a useful looking working knife. A locking straight edge blade, and an easy to open one handed if needed second blade. Combined with a hi-viz color and lanyard hole,whats not to love?:D

The 35 Farm & Field is indeed a workhorse. The hook of the one hand blade and the "screwdriver" made it uncomfortable to handle. I filed them.

As usual, I'm a bringer of old news. :rolleyes:
HA!!! very true Gary, the older I get my like/love of Winter diminishes, I like it for a month or two then not so much after that;):) 50's today then the next 9 days don't crack 35 degrees:mad:

The MAM's that you carry intrigue me, they look stout and very "ready for work" and your Black Jack is just:cool::cool::cool:

Enjoy your weekend:thumbsup:
IMHO, that's too cold, too soon! :eek:
Thanks for the positive comments, Paul. :) The MAMs are very simple, but sharp and well-built. I'd say they're more sturdy than Opinels, but don't slice as well because the MAM blades are thicker.

Thank you, GT. :)

Black Jack is the cream of the crop, GT. :cool::thumbsup:
Thanks, John. :)

A new one to me, a 6347 HP and a Barlow

5K Qs 5K Qs - Much thanks, GT. A donut is a donut, until it’s not a donut. The one you see was a bakery baked fresh that morning, and as delicious as it should be.:) But I get your point.:)

That's a beauty, Jeff! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Thank you, Gary! Gorgeous Lambsfoot. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks, Gary. Bliss was a human individual who was part of the Gaian planetary entity (I can't believe I wrote that!).
Thanks for the compliment, Dean, and for the "unbelievable" Asimov comment. :) Bliss reminded me, in some ways, of Dors Venabili, and I wondered if she was an "undercover" robot watching over the Gaian development.
Top-notch 6347! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Gary you are the best !!!:D:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
...
Thanks, Gev, although the obvious question is "Best at what???" ;)

Thank you GT. Yes, it is a Mini size (not sure why they don’t call it Medium at 3-5/8”). BB
Thanks for the clarification, Bruce. :) I've studied photos of both sizes of the copperlock, and so far I have a hard time IDing the size from a photo.

5K Qs 5K Qs - Thank you GT. You can always send one to me and I’ll show you.:)

:D:thumbsup: I may take you up on that sometime, Harvey!

Yes they were Farmalls,most had packed up as it had rained a little. From what was still there Farmall and International Harvester had the biggest presence. Followed by John Deere,of which an old John Deere dozer was my prop for the barlow.
Thanks for the confirmation, David. :)

You got some nice woodies in your rotation!

Thank you again kind Sir!!! The covers are synthetic as after WWII the only bone covered BSA scout I've seen was a Pal Blade Co; Btw 7 is among my favorite prime numbers!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
...
Thanks for the encouraging words and for the handle material info, JJ! :)
Your Sunday scouts, PAL and Hammer, are amazingly well-preserved! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup: I especially like the Imperial with its "cracked ice" covers; I have those covers on one of my old Imperials (but mine has more "life experience":rolleyes:).
