What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Krein Bushcrafter and a Baby Canoe today.

This Krein really looks great. The shape, the grind, the wood, and the sheath.
Is that a sharpener hanging on the sheath?

I am carrying this jack I made out of a TL-29 in bocote...View attachment 1222564

Now that temps have dropped in the Northeast, and I'm not constantly camping outside, I finally managed to pry the SwissTank out of my pocket. I still haven't kicked the Vic stainless habit though. The OC red Framer gets the nod today, with some nice hunters plaid paracord. After carrying a SwissChamp for 4 or 5 months straight, I'd forgotten how wonderfully robust these 93mm alox models are.

My two Wednesday totes are a couple of wood covered slicers from GEC; a 29 in Orange Osage and a 15 in Ebony.:)
Thank you for the compliment on my Kastor ! Osage for the win and a great visual test of my resolve.;)

The 35 Farm & Field is indeed a workhorse. The hook of the one hand blade and the "screwdriver" made it uncomfortable to handle. I filed them.

Thank you. Aye, JJ. Many tales.

I’ve yet to pick up one, but the 29 strikes me as a highly useful tool for countless task, while the 15 is already a classic.

@Jack Black - Smashing Ebony Lamb. Despite having more than enough Lambs, that one or the Ebony big ún, is the one I ever so patiently wait(hope)to acquire. I love my Ebony @waynorth Lamb, but the Sheffield version is very different and special.

@5K Qs - Thank you kindly, GT. Those spiral cookies are part of an assortment of what I consider as a harbinger of the Holiday Season. In the blue tin, Danish Butter Cookies. Perfect for noshing while performing tasks like participating in the Forum, etc.:)

Your “cracked ice” Imperial has a lot of personality. Love your Nieto birch Climber.

Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund - The Bocote makes your TL-29 very special, Jeff.

@Gev- Excellent image, Gev. The contrast between the aged-patina of the blade and the elegance of the MOP is very appealing.

Thank you, Jack! That's top drawer ebony you are carrying!:thumbsup:

Thanks for the compliment, Dean, and for the "unbelievable" Asimov comment. :) Bliss reminded me, in some ways, of Dors Venabili, and I wondered if she was an "undercover" robot watching over the Gaian development.
Top-notch 6347! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Sophisticated smalls, Dean!:cool::thumbsup: Superior edge on that Buck Lancer!

- GT

Thank you, Gary! The Edge on the Lancer is totally due to Buck's sharpening before selling (which I have always appreciated).

Alox of the Week is a Vic Farmer (thanks, Tom):

non-Alox SAK of the Week is a Tinker:

Bailed non-SAK of the Week is a Marbles Workman scout (doesn't have a bail, but it should :rolleyes:):

International Knife of the Week is this birch navaja from Spain (thanks, Elle). (It has no tang stamp, but I think it's a Nieto Birch Climber model.)

We both seem to be the beneficiary of a Vic Farmer (thanks again). :) That's a fine foursome for the week, Gary.
