What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Yeah, you're not kidding! Lanterns stank too! :D

Nice pics Rachel, hope you have a great weekend :)
Thanks, same to you.
I thought a month was too long. Perhaps a week, like GT does, would be a good compramise. Just too many nice Lambs to keep them hidden away that long.
Weekly rotation sounds reasonable.

With the lower temperatures the birds are in a feeding frenzy.
On feeder duty today!

Fab four, Gary! I always like seeing your RR marlin spike; it looks like it was beamed in from somewhere.

Thank you very much Shawn, got file-work on the Lambsfoot too :)

Wow, Jack! Great stag on those two knives and the file work is fantastic.:thumbsup:

My two totes are a scout and a stag for Saturday; the Kutmaster scout from the late 1930s and the Puma Hunter in stag.:)
Thank you JJ. That Puma Stag with the the tiny serrations, is quite the stunner. An embarrassment of riches with that gorgeous Kutmaster Scout.
Jack Black Jack Black - Thank you Jack. Exquisite file work, my friend.

You’re very kind, Ron, and I appreciate that, but my skills (lacking), and working speed rule out working on someone else’s knife.
And I have a few home made guitars to build yet. I did do some sorta serious repairs on 4 guitars for a friend, and that was nerve wracking. So I don’t look for that either.

I like that big LF.
Where does the name of that stag come from?
Thanks Jeff! I used my best google foo and was able to determine that Père David was a French Missionary that introduced this species of deer from China to the West in the 1860’s. :D

First off Jack, HAPPY HALLOWEEN and secondly, I love the earned patina on your Hartshead:cool: annnnnnd, I know what I'll search for on netflix for my nights entertainment:D

Of course I have to carry my Case Halloween Barlow;) well that along with my new Stag Eureka:)

You're welcome! I'm glad its going to get used, it really is a terrific knife.

I've been carrying the 77 this week. 15 came in for the assist tonight.

Beautiful knives, Jack!

I took this photo a week or so ago, intending to post it here, but apparently I never did. I carried this #21 Bull Buster while working on some final pre-winter projects around the house. We recently had our driveway done, and I used the dirt they removed to level out the grade in our backyard. Then we had 12 tons of river rock delivered, all of which I had to haul to the backyard the old fashioned way, because there’s no way to get a bobcat back there. We were originally going to plant grass in the yard, but I don’t think it would have grown very well (completely shaded by trees), and a hardscape seemed lower maintenance. The Bull Buster didn’t really get too much use; the only thing that needed to be cut was the landscape fabric, and that seemed like a better job for scissors and a utility knife. Thankfully I’m done with the rock-and-dirt-hauling; now I just have leaves to deal with. o_O

Besides the #21, I’ve also been carrying this #25 a lot lately. Love these WLSTs. :D
