5K Qs
, thanks. I’m really enjoying this one.

I have one very similar to yours, but I haven't used, or even carried, mine as nearly as much as you have.

5K Qs
- Thank you GT. I (heart) your roper knife. Love to see the whole blade.
I'm impressed with your familiarity with Islamic mathematicians, Jack!

I vacillate between Farmer and Electrician as my favorite Alox SAK.
Thanks for the good words about my sailor knife, Jack & Harvey.

I've had a Cannon knife trio since last Christmas - I like them.

"The usual" for you is quite extraordinary IMHO, Alan!!

...
Thank you, GT.

Hope you're getting off for the holidays soon.
...
Thanks, John; I submitted final grades on Thursday for the only class I taught this semester, so now I'm footloose and fancy-free for a while, except for the demands of my wife, daughter, and dogs.
I thought I'd give this little liner-lock OT a spin to see how I like it...
...
Nice pairing of your WCLF and OT; only 2 blades combined, but the shapes and sizes complement one another well!

Good morning! I’ve doubled down on the 93’s today!

...
A great pair there Ron . I think that I will do the same almost on this 5 F morning . ( old photos )...
Harry
Ron and Harry, did you both wear your "93 Club" sweaters, too?

Two fine pairings, gentlemen, anchored by the memorable WCLF jigged bone in each case!

Great carries this week, Gary. Q: is that Opinel handle modified, or can you buy them like that?
Edit: Never mind, Gary. I found your answer in the "Wooden Wednesday" thread.
Thanks, Vince.

You can buy "slim" Opinels with a more rounded and curved handle and skinnier blade (narrower edge-to-spine distance). I don't currently have one of those, but I might get one sometime if I remember to add it to my "what's next?" list.
Jaw-dropping pic of a splendid pair of old knives!!

I enjoyed reading about your 2019 KOTY selection, Dean! Both pictured knives are winners!

Wood and Western Wednesday !
...
Vibrant vintage Sword/Western duo, Steve!

Looking good, Tom; that clip/pen barehead jigged bone jack is especially appealing!

That stag 73 is pretty much a heart-stopper, Taylor!!

...
Thank you, GT. I must have been unintentionally channeling my inner Margaret Mitchell

.
...

That walnut(?) Case loom fixer(?) is such a classic pattern, Dylan!

...
Thank you kindly Gary; I had not seen prior to this jack!

Quite a cool lineup of slicers for you today; that's a great shot of your Alox Electrician!

...
Today's totes are a couple "shadow" pens from the 1920s; a Crucible and a Canton Cut Co.

...
Thanks for the kind words, JJ.

Your nearly-centenarian shadow pens are ravishing!!!

Today with A. Wright Lambsfoot in Green Bone.

Always a delight to see the jigged bone lambsfoot, José!

Did you notice in the Guardians thread that someone else got one recently?
