The work around I’ve come up with, regarding double posting, is when it takes too long to post, I refresh, go back to the thread, and it now shows that I actually posted. It’s cumbersome, but it works.

I agree. The 44 is one of GEC’s best. I had to let mine go because of my chemo-damaged nails. Just too strong a pull now; rips off pieces. Oh, well. Maybe I will get another some day and keep it until things improve. It’s a pattern that really grows on you. Under appreciated for sure.

No kidding. I got this one just to see it in hand and intended for it to be a catch and release. Even had it up for sale at a slight loss just to move it along. Then decided what the heck it's here let me take it along for a ride.... And it just feels right. Best slicer I own and the action can't be beat by anything else I have. Let me know when you're done kicking butt over there with therapy and we'll make sure there's a 44 available for you to try out again! Tackling this monday again with the 44 and I'm sure for the remainder of the year. Happy New Year!
