Been carrying my traditional in a pouch that came with my Benchmade Bugout. It protects the knife and doubles as a cloth to wipe the blade with no extra pocket bulk.

Great pic, of a great knife. I miss my 71! I should’ve hung onto it.

I'm still carrying this pair until the closing of the year. If I had received the 861 earlier this year it very well may have been my carry knife of the year but it came a bit late to know for sure. Either way these are great knives and will be carried by me for years to come.

I apparently haven't posted in this thread since Christmas Eve! Who knew I had such a rich, full holiday social life?? Time to start catching up, a little at a time.

Got me a new knife from my wife and kiddos. I love it! First SAK I’ve had in years and been kinda thinking about one. And this one ticks two hobby boxes!

My lovely wife gave me this Case Saddlehorn in Sycamore Wood today. We have many Sycamore trees here in Central Ohio and I frequently see them on hikes. They are usually near water which means rivers, creeks and streams here.

Truth be told, I ate some of the cookies before taking this picture. Someone might get a cookie dish that's light by a handful.

Well caroling in the physical rehab hospital is over. Such a good time, it’s hard to describe. Struggled a bit singing in this elevated low oxygen air, but that’s life. No one complained, and I think they all appreciated not being forgotten on Christmas. Forgive me for not doing this more often!View attachment 1254283

Toting these two for Friday; a Cattaraugus spey jack and a WWII Ulster TL-29, both in Cocobolo.

Another charming couple of knives, JJ; I'm a real fan of spey blades, and love the looks of your Catt!

These two will be fighting for pocket time...
