What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Xf7kzGr.jpg

Been carrying my traditional in a pouch that came with my Benchmade Bugout. It protects the knife and doubles as a cloth to wipe the blade with no extra pocket bulk.

Great pic, of a great knife. I miss my 71! I should’ve hung onto it. :( :( :( :(

I apparently haven't posted in this thread since Christmas Eve! Who knew I had such a rich, full holiday social life?? Time to start catching up, a little at a time.
Got me a new knife from my wife and kiddos. I love it! First SAK I’ve had in years and been kinda thinking about one. And this one ticks two hobby boxes!

Congrats; the racing stripes are sweet!:thumbsup::cool: Which model SAK is that? Your family did good on that one!! :)

Merry Christmas !

Great Christmas photo, Steve! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Going a little overboard today, but it's fun. Merry Christmas!

Breathtaking bone bonanza right there!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

The new one has been in my pocket since I received it last night.:thumbsup:
Hey, you got one, as hoped/predicted; congrats, John!:cool::thumbsup: Looking forward to hearing some first impressions sometime.

Merry Christmas to all!

My lovely wife gave me this Case Saddlehorn in Sycamore Wood today. We have many Sycamore trees here in Central Ohio and I frequently see them on hikes. They are usually near water which means rivers, creeks and streams here.

Congrats on a beautiful gift, Dean; that sycamore wood is sensational!:cool::thumbsup:

Truth be told, I ate some of the cookies before taking this picture. Someone might get a cookie dish that's light by a handful.
There might be a trip to the doghouse in my future!:D

It's probably totally worth it! :D:cool:

Well caroling in the physical rehab hospital is over. Such a good time, it’s hard to describe. Struggled a bit singing in this elevated low oxygen air, but that’s life. No one complained, and I think they all appreciated not being forgotten on Christmas. Forgive me for not doing this more often!View attachment 1254283
Thanks for the report, Jeff; what a great Christmas activity!!:cool::cool:

Linus and his newly discovered family of Sheffield Lambs open their presents.

That's a great Christmas photo of Linus and other "black lambs", Harvey!:thumbsup::cool:

A rope knife and a Barlow for today, both from Schatt & Morgan. :)
To me, that's quite a rare pair, JJ; thanks for sharing your always-intriguing knives!:thumbsup::cool:

Goood Mornin’! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Get outside and play...even if it’s after your day.

Fantastic Forum knife :thumbsup::thumbsup:, and I can't help but admire the "monogram" on the axle housing (I have no technical knowledge of bikes, so forgive my ignorance of terminology ).

Today again in my pocket Taylors Eye Witness Lambfoot with ram's horn covers.;)

Such a pleasant knife to look at, José!:cool::thumbsup:

It was though, dramatic and emotional (as it should be) but here she is. Papa's best Christmas gift.

Tired but mostly overjoyed. Have a nice rest of holiday everybody.
Herzlichen Glückwunsch zur Geburt Ihrer neuen Tochter!! :):cool::cool::thumbsup:
(I saw your knife photo with the German Bible recently, so I thought I'd try to use a Google translator to express my congratulations.)

Guess who got some new hunting shoes for Christmas. I may try them out tomorrow and over the weekend.

Two Taylor Eye Witnesses today...
Harry
Your two TEWs are too much, Harry!:cool::cool:

Feeling fancy and festive still :)

Fancy, festive, and flawless, Mike!:thumbsup::cool:

Just picked this up, so it's riding in my pocket now.
Congrats on your new lockback, John!:thumbsup::cool:

Beautiful early AM walk with Linus and Ari.

Then orange slices and a freakishly Sunny 60 degrees.

Another first-class Linus shot, Harvey!:thumbsup::thumbsup: A day without orange slices is a like a day without sunshine, but you had plenty of both on Boxing Day, I'll bet! ;)

Toting these two for Friday; a Cattaraugus spey jack and a WWII Ulster TL-29, both in Cocobolo. :)
Another charming couple of knives, JJ; I'm a real fan of spey blades, and love the looks of your Catt!:cool::thumbsup:

These two will be fighting for pocket time...
Why can't we all just get along? They should learn to share a pocket; they go great together!!:cool::thumbsup:

No misconception Gary, you had the right idea just the wrong tree.
Thanks, Alan. :)

That makes it very unique.
I like it better than the long and thin spey of the original.:thumbsup:
Thanks, John. :) It is certainly a unique, and useful, knife!
